You don't need your left foot at Monza. :p

GPGSL-4: testdrivers champion in Season 11!
Has silly season started yet? If not, I think it's a bit late this season, so I'll go ahead and start it now by announcing that I'll be leaving One at the end of the season.

So...how many cars do you intend to hit at the first turn with your "no-brake" policy? ;)

Silly season incoming!

So, I'll announce myself that I do not plan to leave Demon Racing at the end of this year (H)

Really sad to hear that Stefan. You were the one who gave me my first shot in the league, and I'll always be grateful for that :-) still, we have some races to go and push together!

As for me, there would have to be a really big offer in order to make me leave One. Otherwise, I'll be fully committed with the team (provided that Rodrigo doesn't find somebody cheaper than me).

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
I don't even know what I'm doing next season...I guess I've got to fix the one we're on first!

So will I.. doh!

My GPGSL Career
Silly season? Guess I can say that I'm not sure yet if I'll still be testing or will be moving into a race seat for next season.

Looks like the musical chairs routine is underway. When the music stops, we will see where everyone ends up....

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
Tester's free practice has been run. Coverage should be up by later tonight.

Hope to reach the top 10. I know we can make it, if we get everything right

I know exactly what you are doing in Season 10. Donning the race overalls for Demon Racing, that's what. Contract is in the mail...

GPGSL Rd 12 Italian GP – Tester’s Free Practice

Hello and welcome to Monza as we get set for Rd 12 of the GPGSL: the Italian GP. We are preparing for the start of the tester’s free practice, where we will get to see who can put in the fastest laptime. However, who that driver may be could well be decided by the boosts that some of the drivers have requested. So, let’s head trackside as we get set for the RD to get this session underway.

Weather Report

Allington is the first driver out for the first group.

As such, he is the first to set a laptime.

Kittleson in his Shadow goes quicker.

De Boer is unable to set a faster time.

De Boer’s time is good enough to hold back Hayes, Domenech and De Bruyker.

Karjalainen slots into 6th with his laptime.

Demon owner Sheppard goes 5th fastest.

MAC Racing’s boost is working out well for them as Cremasco goes fastest.

Schroder in the 2nd VSM goes 6th fastest.

Michail manages to go faster and demotes the VSM driver down one position.

Here are the standings after the first group’s first run.

Mills gets the second group of driver’s first runs underway.

The bad luck for TNR continues on as Mills takes the wooden spoon.

The spoon is soon passed on as Thomas is unable to match Kittleson’s pace and slots into last position.

McGregor goes faster than Cremasco, which makes it a MAC Racing 1-2.

Silvestre in the MPR slots into 6th.

Silvestre’s time is good enough to hold back Stoddart.

However, it’s not fast enough to hold back O’Brien as the SCR driver slots into 2nd to break up the MAC duo.

Paddock in the other MPR goes 12th fastest.

Hunsley puts in a great laptime to slot into 3rd.

Hinz goes 7th fastest.

Ingers however manages to go 5th fastest.

Van Smirren goes 15th fastest. He most likely won’t be too happy with that lap.

With all drivers now having set their first laptime, let’s take a look at the standings.

Hayes manages to improve up to 18th.

Cremasco again uses the boost to improve himself up into 3rd.

Kittleson doesn’t improve on his position, but does improve on his laptime.

Allington improves his laptime and stays in 7th.

Schroder is able to improve on his position by two positions.

A better laptime for Sheppard sees the Demon owner improve, but only as far as 13th.

It seems to be looking like a tough weekend for One Racing, as De Bruyker is only able to improve by one position.

All drivers in the first group have now finished their runs, so let’s take a look at the standings.

Thomas is still unable to match Kittleson’s pace, but at least he won’t finish in the last few positions.

Mills improves up to 20th.

A brilliant lap from Hinz sees the AMR driver set the fastest time.

Ingers improves up to 6th.

12th for Paddock is not where he would like to be. He’ll be hoping for much better things from his main drivers.

Van Smirren improves up to 14th, but with his title rivals higher up the order, this could possibly hurt his position.

No more improvements have been made, and now that all drivers have finished both of their runs, let’s take a look at the standings.

There we have it. It was a very interesting free practice session, and with the results that we have seen, the rest of the weekend is shaping up to be very interesting indeed. Anyways, congratulations go to Christopher Hinz and AMR, our free practice winners. Qualifying will be next up, so we’ll see you all back then.

The boost! It does nothing!
Well, that bodes terribly.
