Santilal steps down from MPR test role

The test drivers’ practice session ahead of the European Grand Prix is expected to mark Monil Santilal’s last appearance in the GPGSL.

Santilal, who notably won the GPGSL's maiden event during Season 1, will step down from his current test driver role with Martini Paddock Racing following practice at Donington Park.

The Portuguese racer will reportedly retire after 78 races in the series, in which time he has taken six wins and two pole positions across six seasons.

MPR team boss Dan Paddock is expected to fill Santilal’s vacant test seat for the remainder of the season, until a permanent replacement can be found.

Snake Motorsports complete line up once more

Snake Motorsports had found a new driver to replace Dominic Brunner who has decided to leave the series. Team principal Maikel de Boer has been looking around for drivers the past few weeks. He has now found a new talent to arise within the ranks of the GPGSL. The new driver, coming from Australia, is Jason Mathew (jasonS26). Both parties are extremely pleased to strike a deal.

"I am very happy to sign a new driver, certainly after some great drivers have left the series recently. I am confident in the performance Jason will be able to bring into the team, we don't immediately except race wins but I'm positive he will help the team forward."

We are looking forward to the next race and the remainder of the season, we will go out on a high!

Signed, Snake Motorsports

Great race for the team at Spa, another double points finish.
Joseph was clearly faster in the race so the team asked me to let him pass, it benefited the team and has helped him keep his championship lead.
Looking forward to a good race at Donington.

Hello GPGSL!
I step out of the darkness and throw myself into the fire, with a debut in the Snake Motorsports race seat.
A keen follower of the GPGSL in the past 2 years or so, with a close friend Shep34 debuting as a team owner. That got me interested in the series.
Snake Motorsports have had a rough time with drivers copping penalties and retirements. I fully intend to be here for the long term, and help Snake regain some stability and consistency within the team.
My plain old helmet is currently being re-worked with a few Snake appropriate logos being added, and i shall have this available for GPGSL scrutineering today.

I will do my best not to get in the way of the veterans of the series, but also be aware, I am not here to be nice and get out of the way! I am here to race. :-)

Welcome Jason, good to see there's still so much talent willing to participate in this great series.
We can grow 100 years old guys ! It's amazing.

Let's OUTLIVE Formula 1!! Should'nt be that hard in F1's current state. Did someone already stop watching F1?

Donnington Park. Hmmm, a very unfamiliar track to me. Demon Racing are going into the unknown for this European GP, at a venue quite foreign to the team boss.
Fingers crossed my drivers have more knowledge of the layout than the boss - i might put in a request to have the "main event" qualy and race run before the test sessions, so i can get some feedback from the lads! LOL!
In short, i am expecting to suck here!(N)
