The important thing to remember with any RD, we all have lives away from the computer, so whenever time allows, coverage can be done... We all need patience in regards to any of this stuff!

Well said, finding Easter eggs should be more important now.

GPGSL R6 Canadian GP Montreal Feature Race Qualifying Official Results

GPGSL Rd 6 Canadian GP – Testers Feature Race

Part 1

Welcome back. Having seen the qualifying session for the testers, we are now ready for the feature race. De Boer is our pole sitter, and next to him is Hayes. Behind them sit Stoddart and Hinz. The RD is ready, so let’s get the race underway.

Weather Report: Sunny

Here we go. Once the 5 lights go out, the race is go.

And off they go.

De Boer turns his pole position into the race lead, while behind him the pack jostles for position. Thomas looks to have made the best start by going up two positions.

At the rear of the field, Van Smirren and Mills have made up places at the expense of McGregor and Hunsley.

Schieder leads the train of cars behind him.

Not much in it between the cars in the midfield.

The cars are still bunched together as they head into the hairpin. Meanwhile, one of the cars has a slight lockup.

Van Smirren takes his chance to get by Silvestre.

Silvestre looks for his chance to regain his position by going side by side with the One.

Thomas has a look up the inside of Sheppard.

And manages to get the position from the Demon driver.

Silvestre has managed to regain his position back from Van Smirren.

Back to the front, and nothing much has changed.

Domenech has his eyes set on Mill’s position as he follows behind the TNR.

Ingers looks for a move on the outside of Sheppard down the straight.

Ingers succeeds in getting by the Demon, while further back Domenech looks for a move on Mills.

And the VSM driver succeeds in getting by the TNR.

Here’s the replay showing Inger’s move on Sheppard.

Stoddart manages to get past Hayes.

As we focus on Schroder, the standings shows how the top 10 have moved since the start of the race.

De Boer still leads.

Hinz doing well at the moment, as he currently sits in 4th.

Allington looks like he has lost a bit of ground to Kittleson.

Meanwhile, the other Demon of Sheppard is looking for a move up the inside of Ingers.

And looks to have made the move stick.

But no, Ingers comes back at Sheppard down the straight.

And gets the position back at the final corners.

This battle has just gotten more interesting. As Sheppard and Ingers were battling each other, it has allowed the cars behind to close in.

Copeman putting pressure on Mills.

At the front, Stoddart has gained a bit of time on De Boer.

Ingers puts in a fast lap to take the fastest lap.

McGregor finds himself in battle with Domenech.

Here are the standings on lap 5.

Stoddart’s Snake has got plenty of speed in it, as he has managed to close in on De Boer.

Stoddart is still close to the back of De Boer at the hairpin. This just might allow him to have a run at the SCR down the straight.

Silvestre has found himself in a One sandwich. He’s not close enough to De Bruyker to try for a pass, but he does have to watch out for Van Smirren behind.

Back to the front, and Stoddart looks to be going for a move on De Boer.

And Stoddart has made the move stick. Stoddart now leads the testers feature race.

Van Smirren has gotten closer to the back of Silvestre’s MPR.

Hinz still sits in 4th, but he is in striking distance to have an attempt at taking Hayes 3rd place.

Stoddart shows just how fast his Snake is by taking the fastest lap.

O’Brien looks to have lost time to Hinz.

Karjalainen is holding onto TNR’s hope for a decent result.

Having got by Sheppard a few laps ago, Ingers now sets his sights on Thomas’s position.

Kittleson is closing in on Schieder’s 6th position.

Ingers has made up time on Thomas.

Onboard with Copeman, as the standings show that he has gained ground on Mills.

Stoddart has pulled away once again from De Boer.

The timing shows that Santilal has taken to the pitlane. It’s too early for a scheduled stop, so there must be a problem with his car.

And this is the reason. Santilal’s MPR has suffered a loose wheel. Thanks to this, it has taken Santilal out of the top 10.

Copeman has managed to get even closer to the back of Mills’s TNR.

Santilal rejoins the field in 22nd.

As we go onboard with O’Brien, here are the current standings.

This shows just how big the gap is between Stoddart and De Boer.

Allington looks to be doing quite well as he holds down 8th position.

We have a yellow flag out. What could be the reason for it?

This looks to be it. Mills has pulled over to the side of the track with a terminal problem.

The timing shows that it was Suspension Failure that put Mills out of the race.

Ingers hasn’t given up yet in his attempts to try and get by Thomas.

The tester’s race hasn’t been going that well for JHR.

As Ingers stays close to the back of Thomas, Sheppard has slowly been catching up.

Time for a break. We hope to be back very soon.

Well, the race is somewhat odd so far! Personally, it seems as if the team left an anchor tied to the car, slowing me down early - must have got rid of it though, as the pace seems to have returned a little. Still, gonna be a tough slog to get some decent points from here....

Race is going nicely for both myself and De Boer. Shame that De Boer lost the lead to Stoddart, but 2nd place would still be a great result if he can stay there.
