It sends like what happened last year has had a personal effect on you as a modder, if I'm correct? I know we can't make you change your mind but remember that members like myself, Heikki and some others do love seeing old-school f1 cars being released for us to play with.

The only way out is new blood building those 2 cars. I don't think it's unethical to release 2 versions of the same cars from different authors.

In this regard, an idea came to me: there are versions of 2002 Sauber and Jaguar in low quality that were on GP4Database.
Maybe someone is interested in working on them to improve the quality of these!

Me and Lee converted the 2002 cars from F1C a long time ago. Those cars were originally released and included in the 2002 mod before Kedy and Soulbringer released stuff that was 100 times better.

I have some projects going on right now, but I will give the Sauber and Jaguar from F1C some love and maybe give you some trackspecific versions atleast when Im done with everything else. They are not nearly
as close as what Kedy's and Soulbringer's versions in quality and will never be. But it's the best we got to work with.

Who knows? Somebody might come along the way fill the gap with something as nice as Kedy-Soul's; if not nicer.

Hey, I just stumbled upon this post and I read thru most of the pages looking for a download link. You said it was in the original post but I cant find it anywhere. Did you remove it because one of the creators didn't want his work published or am I missing something? I thank you for your time in advance if you read this post.

The final version is pretty much finished but will not be shared thanks to idiots that steal and sell the fantastic work in this thread as an Assetto Corsa mod.

So no, there will most likely not be any more updates

There is a really good energy these days on the forum, Hega, soulbringer and the team have doing a really super job on 1998, 2001 and now on 2000 cars, and things are changing continually, so is there some chances to see the last 2 cars Sauber and Jaguar on the forum ?

Thanks to Lee, SkaningeN and Fongu they work on the cars but on the old F1c cars,

It will be so cool, and will be fantastic to see the mod finished with the HD cars !

I have seen the Sauber on sketchfab, and looking so fresh

Sorry bro, but the Jaguar and Sauber from Kedy and Soulbringer is not being released. That's pretty much comfirmed.

You will have to make due with the F1C conversions we released a couple of months ago

What makes this even more painful is that I've indefinitely lost this mod thanks to my computer being a dick. Frick this.

EDIT: Sorry if this came off as me being salty. I understand *why* Kedy has made the decision to take the mods down. But initially, this felt like gatekeeping. As someone who absolutely adored these mods (which was even more important to me, since 2002 was the year I got into F1). Screw gatekeepers, but also screw the the people who used your mod for AC. Wishing you the best in life. And should you return to modding stuff on GP4, I'm more than certain you'd be welcomed with open arms.

Sadly I am not in the same situation following my old laptop dying. Terrible to hear what they did to Kedy's work.

These people who TAKE other people's work then sell them off (for money) as their own as disingenuous, lazy thieves.

It's happened against GP4 creators more so recently and it really shows the mindset of some people, they clearly don't care the effect it has on creators and the GP4 community general.

Sorry for ranting.

Could any talented member finish off Sauber and Jaguar?
