Are 16:9 resolutions possible?

I run my PC in 1920x1080p on desktop, in fine 16:9. It works just fine on for example, GPL. However, when playing GP4 (and GP3 probably too), the screen is always in 4:3, meaning you get gaps on the sides on WMM. I personally despise that.
Any chance for some fix/patch etc. so I can run the games in 16:9?

Open your f1graphics.cfg file in the root folder of GP4:

0 ; f1graphics.cfg controls all settings (default 0)
800 ; [RELEASE] Game 3D Horizontal Resolution
600 ; [RELEASE] Game 3D Vertical Resolution
1 ; [RELEASE] Enable 32bit mode if available NB. If Windowed then is forced to desktop format
1 ; [RELEASE] Enable hardware T&L if available
0 ; [RELEASE] Run in a window
...

Set the first line to 1 to enable settings control and change the resolution to 1920x1080 at the 2nd and 3rd line. Save the file.

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?

Only problem is that the game is optimized for 4:3 ratio resolutions, so a 16:9 resolution will just cut off the top and bottom of what would be normally shown.
