Greenhalgh to MPR for Season 9
Martini Paddock Racing are very pleased to announce the signing of double world champion Ed Greenhalgh for Season 9 of the GPGSL.
Greenhalgh, the most successful driver in the history of the GPGSL, with 25 wins and 24 poles will join MPR from Aston Martin Racing at the end of Season 8.
At the press conferences called at MPR's factory earlier today, Ed said: "It is a privilege to join a respected team such as MPR and I look forward to working with Dan next season. It will be good to have a new challenge and I look forward to hopefully enhancing my legacy by winning a championship for another team. But for now this must remain out of my mind as I look forward to finishing off this season."
Paddock added: "Ed is the man in the GPGSL, and we've been chasing his signature a long time. As a team we want to be the very best that we can be, and we feel that with Ed joining for Season 9 we finally have all the pieces of the puzzle."
It is expected that Greenhalgh will be partnered at MPR by Charrel Jalving although there has been no official statement from the Dutchman's management.

Yeah Greg is correct, Jack is simply stepping down to start his own team.

Anyway, great news for MPR. I honestly thought that Ed would take more a gamble and join one of the midfield teams, but I guess that shows just how much I know
