I really do like that S9 JHR Developments livery... simple is always the best and less is more.

Should be a great livery for the real F1.

Same, last I remembered for VSM/Minardi was the revived S1 look. The S9 design was ace.

Whatever you did, it also improved the tyres a lot! They're looking really neat in this new setting.

My thoughts exactly :D. If only I had done that change at the end of the S1 renders already.

The endplate issues appear to be caused by smoothing the shape, once I do that they look @#$%& up :/. Guess I'd have to import them as separate object, and don't apply smoothing.

Mhm, seems to be the only way for a perfect result. The distortion isn't thaaaat bad on most renders but a perfectionist like you is probably bothered nonetheless

Haha, true :D

You barely notice it with lighter colours, like on the MTP. With dark ones it can really stand out though, e.g. on the Alpha.

Edit: yep, endplate in a separate object without smoothing applied works just fine



Still think it's a shame that Pulsar never made it on the grid, that livery is awesome!
