Hello Tom

I tested out your mod and the things below are bugs i found:

* Visor On in configurable works not perfect ingame. Ferrari visors are screwed up, mercedes has a wrong visor and all the other cars/drivers don't have a visor at all !

* If you select last team in configurables to HRT, you still get Timo Glock & Charles Pic names with drivers but ingame the team swap works fine and teamart !

* No option to choose the HUD at the moment its in MPH and i use KM/h

Good job mate !

Thanks BB. So the Visors I knew about, I should have mentioned it in the first post. Thanks

Well spotted with the HRT / Marussia drivers in the CSM menu. Needs to be fixed.

KPH instead of MPH is a good one. I will add it to the list as well.

Wow....... First Mod I've ever downloaded for this great game, and I'm impressed.

Apart from what was pointed out above, two problems I've had are Track Selection and Occasional (Massive) FPS Drops.

When I tried selecting Suzuka I ended up on Monza, and to drive at Brazil, I had to select Shanghai. All of the tracks do this. (Except for Australia)

The FPS drops happen at various places around the different tracks. It also happens (on every track as far as I can tell) driving past the Pit Lane and while in the Pit Lane.

Thought I'd also point out that I have no problem setting the speed to KMH.

Hope this feedback helps, and keep up the good work!

Hi AUS_Doug, thanks for the feedback.

Tracks are not included in the game and need to be downloaded separately. That's why the game loads the old 2001 track for each slot (e.g. Brazil was 3rd in 2001 so it loads when you select Shanghai). I will include a fix for this in the next version.

The high PO spikes are probably caused partly by the forced high definition car models which again is something I will fix in future versions, so watch this space...

I can't believe I didn't realise that (the track's loading their old posistions) before. :-)

When you say 'Include a fix' does that mean you will be including the actual tracks, or just fixing the names?

I can't include the 2012 tracks because I don't make them, and I wouldn't get permission to include them by those who do.

The GP4Forever guys make the best updates, try them first.

Loving the update keep up the good work!

I also had a question relating to the HUD, specifically the KERS and DRS, and posted it here

To enable the HUD in cockpit view you need to find a file called hud2012_1.ini and edit one line.

Double-click the mod in CSM to open the windows explorer view of the mod's files. Navigate to Data\GpxPatch\pnl\hud2012_mph (or \hud2012_kph if you use KPH).

In this folder is the file called hud2012_1.ini. Open it, and on the 4th line change this:

Camera=2

to this:

Camera=1,2

Excellent, thanks for that.
Didn't know that the files for GP4 mods were .ini files. I assumed that you needed a special tool for editing them.
