I think we must find a solution with modders who can't contact for permission (ex: put his name on credit and sorry about can't contact with him for permission, i think he will give permission when he see his name on credit of mod). I hope jayjay57 can have all permission for great 2008 mod. GP4 community new mod to keep GP4 alive!

Why don't you release it without the shape? Include a link to download the shape in the readme with a small explanation how to put it into your mod.

The new suggestion of the permission rule solve the problem for files that don't get permission due not getting a response of the author of the file !!!

If the Shape is public released in a forum and you have contacted him but no response for 30 days you can use that file in a mod, you MUST credit the person for his work.

So be sure the file has been released in public forum, not sent in private way !

And be sure you have contacted him to ask permission.

If those 2 things are OK you can add the file in the mod and the credits for the file, all files, is a MUST !

How about status of the mod? Hope jayjay57 will get all permission to release this mod! Good luck to you!
