Does anyone know what happened to the track Riverside Intl Raceway? It's retired from the topic list?

Does anyone know what happened to the nice track Rouen-Les-Essarts? It's retired from the tracks Atticus list?

i have no clue what happened with the tracks, but for me it would be much more interesting what happened with Atticus. He was at least online in october 2018 and since then there's nothing more to see from him. I hope he's well and he'll come back one day

Hi guys!!

Don't worry, I'm OK. ;)

Just a few things happened since October 2018, mostly not nice things, 2019 was officially one of the worst years of my life, and I was too distracted to even notify the forum about my whereabouts. Laguna Seca, Lime Rock and Road Atlanta in 2018 feels like a lifetime ago.

I did have one positive development in my life soon after October 2018 and that was finally getting myself a proper entry-level force feedback wheel (G29) and getting into more modern titles, rF2, ACC, AC, R3E, AMS, etc. (Have to say, GP4 is still the standard in AI or at least as good as these titles which came 15 years later!)

So I kind of moved on, I think permanently now - laser-scanned circuits kind of gave me in large part what I was trying to create here, accuracy.

I do miss the creative process and the visual skills required to put together an accurate mesh in GP4 Builder though - but I have too many other things in my life by now. (I also went from being practically unemployed around 2016 to IT Project Manager a few months ago.)

But apologies for not letting anyone know about what I was up to.

*

Few words on my tracks. (Ah, feels good to even talk about them, I was really passionate about them. :))

So new .dats are unlikely to come.

For Riverside and Rouen, I removed them actually very long time ago, around 2015, because they weren't good enough even back then, much less by today's standards. I don't plan on uploading them, honestly, they're horrible lol.

I do hope my existing .dats get picked up though, I just authorised a 2-year-old request for Meteoro to build graphics around my Lime Rock Park - let's see what comes out of it!

*

Finally, I'm absolutely amazed to see the level of activity on the forum!

10-20 threads being updated daily, that's ridiculously good for a 20-year-old game. (OMG) We're probably on GPL level now, which is right up there among the most devoted communities.

I will pop in from time to time (I hope).

Crack on, guys, you are the best!

Cheers,

Atticus

Great to see you back again :-)
Hello Atticus,

It seems there is no link for your Rouen-les-Essarts. Where can I download it, please ? Many thanks.

Heya, thanks for the tracks ! Is there a version of the Austrian 87 track with the chicane, please ?
i have tried a few tracks and i must say your cc lines are outstanding!! I suppose it's very difficult to add environment to your tracks...
