Well it looks really nice? So basically the worst two cars on the grid are two of the nicest looking. Pity that really...

WTF are these teams up to? How can they spend all winter, taking LONGER than all of the other teams, failing crash tests only to emerge with a butchered version of what is in one case a three year old car. Caterham have put them to shame.

I don't think the tubs are the same. The HRT's got a much tighter arse than last year and by the looks of things, a higher bulkhead resulting in a higher nose (the front wing looks alarmingly similar though). The Marussia car also looks pretty tight at the back, and has a different frontal area.

and for the HRT cars...

HRT will have their 3rd season with one and same car and they still beat Virgin-Marussia mess easily. ;)

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

Is it just me or is that HRT livery a copy of the sauber from last year or the year before that?

Both HRT & Marusia remind me of those teams came and went in the late 80s early 90s with no one really noticing that they'd been there.

The on the HRT the only visible change apart from the livery which is the biggest change is a very slight change to the undercut of the side pods ad an equally small change to the nonecone apart from that it's still essentially the 2010 Dallara. No wonder why they had such trouble passing crash tests the car was basically designed around three year old tests.

The Marusia on very first glance also looks the same, closer observation reveals slight changes to the roll-hoop/air intake and he side pods. Perhaps the biggest change is the monocoque itself, visibly lower cockpit so it's definitely new. Still.. Very early 90s small team style of preparedness though. It's a shame because CFD gimmick aside this team looked exciting ahead of it's debut in 2010 but it's steadily looked more puzzling with each passing race. If they finish behind HRT again it'll truly be a shambles and at this stage there's a big chance of that happening.. A new car with zilch testing could have all manner of reliability problems.. since the HRT is basically the very same car you might expect it to prove ultimately more reliable and be more likely to pick up the freak attrition race result.

I do like the HRT livery, apart from the hideous inside rear wing endplate.

if you leave his acting as incompetent and murray-like questions and misatkes, I'd say Allen is one of the best commentator in terms of keeping the dynamic during the whole race. Something I cant say for coulthard or legard. Brunde is good in it though. Especially when he makes retrospects to what "things used to be". too bad he went to sky. I ll be itnerested to see how his ancessedor is replacer does.

Maria de Villota confirmed as Marussia reserve/test/3rd/spare driver.

Did not see that coming...however I did consider her a contender for the 2nd HRT seat.

I found it on a random forum somewhere. I presumed it was an edit but people were banging on about a non-smoking day test livery or someshit. I think it looks like a snot.

Nahh that's an edit almost for sure. Non smoking livery pffft... There's no longer any Marlboro logos on the car anyway.

It would be ironic if they made a "non smoking" livery that looks like smoker's cough phlegm.
It also reminds me of the green variety of ketchup.
