The 2011 Formula One Season

FOTA says that HRT haven't paid their fees. I am somehow more inclined to believe that.

The funny part is, if they cant afford to pay $100,000, how are they going to make a season of F1 :p

I understand that FOTA might not be of greatest importance but im sure there would have been benefits. It just makes the team seem more of a joke.

Has anyone else seen that it's Ferrari's Wrooom event this week? Monday 10th to Saturday 15th.

Looks as though they're using the same style of car number that they have since 2007 - and because it's 5 and 6 it's the exact same as 2007 so we can just dig out the old car numbers and stick them on the F11

EDIT: HRT -> Hideous Robbery Team (in the sense that they only want drivers for sponsorship and get rid of ones that can't pay the full amount. Karthikeyan, you've been warned!)

More Hispania stuff happened. They really love attention don't they? Well now, they want to sue Chandhok for breach of contract. Apparently the donation of $8 million sponsorship was written in to his contract, and he managed to only get a quarter of that. This is supposed to explain his replacement in Germany.

They should just go the whole hog and rename to 'Laughing Stock F1'...

2005, 2006, 2011* (Alonso, *season not started)

All of Alonso's would be 11 years after Schumacher's

HD for 2011 is great news even though I don't have HD it's good for those who do.

bored of this livery already.

I still think that it's made unnecessarily worse by the front and rear wing end plates being red. I imagine most if not all big black areas will soon be filled by sponsorship. Oh well, black cars are interesting I guess but the other problem for me is that the 2010 Renault livery remains one of my most favourite in the the 18 years I've been watching F1 - this just doesn't look as good as that one did and what is more I can't help but feel the old livery has lost out in particular as part of what I'd say can only be described as a farce.

Well, i hope the other Lotus TEAM use a bigger logo.... :-P

I do agree with you about the red endplates, if they were black it would look much better. hate the logo on the nose the size a dinner plate. beh. it's all hideous tbh. LOLtus.

the yellow camel lotus was the nicest, apart from the one from 1992 i posted in the lotus thread.

Yes, I agree completely. The 2010 Renault livery was fantastic; it looked good and it was distinctive as well. Its a pity to see it go so soon
