Okay then, so we have a thread for the car launches and we have a thread of who's driving for who and what tracks we have. Figured we might as well have a testing thread too :) here are all the testing dates for the 2010 Formula One season.

1-3 February - Circuito Ricardo Tormo
10-13 February - Circuito Permanente de Jerez
17-20 February - Circuito Permanente de Jerez
25-28 February - Circuit de Catalunya

Today at the first day of testing, we see the new cars take to the track for the first time, probably mostly only installation laps but who cares. F1 is back! Here's who's out on track today.

McLaren Gary Paffett
Mercedes Nico Rosberg (morning), Michael Schumacher (afternoon)
Ferrari Felipe Massa
Sauber Pedro de la Rosa
Williams Rubens Barrichello
Renault Robert Kubica
Toro Rosso Sébastien Buemi

Here's a gallery from autosport to start us off:

And another from GPupdate:

Circuit Thermalito

Liverpool Waterfront Circuit (WIP)

I wonder why G. Paffett is there instead of Button and The Ham, most teams have their main drivers there, tbh I do not see any point in using test drivers these days anyway, testing is so restricted that the main drivers will hardly feel overworked.

And not only that but Paffet was not the main test driver as the testing was mainly done by Pedro de la Rosa so is double risky.

would be a bummer for Kubica if this years Sauber is good.

Apparently this channel will show live when Schumacher gets in:

you would also have thought that two champions like Lewis and Jenson would want to spend as much time in the car as they can before this season, guess not.

Just came from the Track, and it was pretty good. Toro Rosso seems to have problems, as they did like 3-4 laps. The quickuest is Massa as he made 1.13.7 by my stopwatch. I'll post later some pics, but they're crap, as my camera... :(

Interestingly, Schumacher is already within 3 hundredths of Rosberg's best time from this morning.

thanks a lot, Raul.
As you said, the Toro Rosso have problems. Can you - maybe - tell us, if some other teams or cars have some problems. I mean, if some cars seem to be fast in fast or slowcorners or so? Something about the balance or the speed?
