Well, I think I can fairly safely remove Ferrari from my fantasy team for this weekend.

In fact, i think I'll just stick the diffused 3 in my fantasy team - surely they'll be so much superior in the wet due to their extra rear grip?

i doubt this race will make it the whole way tbh. If there is a monsoon at 5:30/6:00pm local time, there isn't going to be enough visibility to start the race again i think.

Is all of Sepang floodlighted? There were plans to do it I think, but I dunno if they ever actually followed it through.

A monsoon race at Sepang will be epic. What are the tyre rules regarding wets this year, we're not confined to just two types like the compounds are we?
If not mistaken, this year there's only one compound for all kinds of rain.
there are intermediate and rain tyres, but no extreme wets i think.

Point is, in Kuala Lumpar there is a daily monsoon at about 5pm. EVERY day that is, at quite exact the same time. So the organisation and the FIA must have known this, and decided it was not a problem I guess.

Looks like we are going to see a lot of spinning Ferraris over the weekend.
No extreme wets in Malaysia?? EPIC!

At least tyre wear will not be so much of an issue if there is rain.
Lopper, there's no extremes anymore for any races, for this year Bridgestone was requested by Fia to produce just an unique compound between the extreme wets and soft ones (not to get one of them and discard the other... it was to create a new tyre with a level between those two) that will be used in any cases of rain.

A 5pm start time should be awesome. We're overdue another rain-hit Malaysian GP(Proper rain, not a pathetic sprinkling like we had in 2004). This should be one belter of a race.

The sunset in Kuala Lumpur is scheduled for 7:21pm local time. So unless the start is massively delayed, floodlights shouldn't be needed.

the odds of Piquet finishing this race must be even worse than in melbourne, especially considering his dismal performance in Interlagos! ;)

Dont be silly, the FIA do not think about the simple things such as consequences of a later start. The simply just 'do' then palm the problem onto the teams :)!

"Trulli was slowing down like he wanted to have a picnic" LOL
This should be quite an epic race :)
Cool, this will be interesting with it being wet. Cant wait till practice to see who goes flying off first ;)

Will be interesting to see if force india can do well here with Sutil especially. He's quite good in the wet and has a good engine.

Bloody FIA putting the race on at a later time.

I start work 10am on sundays :(

I've got to try and get home in the afternoon and find a download of the race without seeing even the smallest of spoilers.

really worried now.

all the ingredients of an amazing, entertaining race and it will either start behind safety car (fair do's) or get red flagged half way through because the drivers are fannies and will complain.

Somehow I have a feeling it won't rain even a bit during the race. Wanna bet? :P
