The car is just getting back at Nelsinho for all the bad treatment it suffered in 2008 ;)

Nelson wants an equal treatment this year

I wonder how long that lasts ;)

Not long considering Flav has stated that he reckons Alonso is better than Schumacher and that of all the drivers in the field, the one he wants the most is the one he has - Alonso. :)

The rearmost part of the engine cover seems to be semitransparent. It's interesting I think.

The Renault sucks, but Piquet himself looks kinda cool in that suitdesign, those colours plus his helmet, I like it.

About that semitransparant, it really looks like it, but I guess it's just the reflection, as for example, if it would be transparant, you would have seen an O from vOdafone, and now it looks kinda square (the reflection on the spot the O should have been when transparant)

I couldn't figure out the "O" you mentioned. But if you follow the left rear suspension, the sidepod on the left, the clearly visible part of the left exhaust (the white part) they all continue flawlessly behind the rearmost part of the engine cover. If it's a reflection, then it's a real coincidence that all reflecting parts appear to be a continuation of the parts at the opposite side.

If that car was at school it would get picked on for being fat ;)

Surely if that engine cover was transparent, the sponsor logos on the other side would be visible through it? I dunno though, seems like a huge coincidence of angles if it were to be a reflection.

Looking at these photos, you can see the turbluent air behind the car. It looks like that, with the 2009 rules, the dirty air is twice as high and half as dense. Good job FOTA, looks like the 2009 regulations have worked! :)

@ Batina : I think that stick is the camera, teams use it to watch how the car reacts (I think)

No it's some kind of sensor. Not sure what is measuring, but it's extra telemetry they can't take during the races... partly for aerodynamic reasons :P
