That's a great comparison of the BMs. Seeing them next to each other makes me actually like the new one more, which is surprising.

A few comments from me:

Firstly, the Renault? Looks like sponsored threw up all over the car. Last years livery, as much as i hate to say it, was beautiful, this years just looks like someone has peeed over the car and missed the endplates.

Williams. Thats how a car should look, dimensions fit well and the colour scheme they are using at the minute looks great, impressive.

Ferrari and mcLaren i think both look good, although i prefer the McLaren.

Toyota and BMW. Not as bad as i had thought they could be, but i agree with some saying the BMW isnt as radical as maybe the Ferrari or McLaren, we dont know how ever whether this will proove to be faster or not yet, lets wait and see on that one.

That side by side by BMW just prove how great looking the 2008 cars were compared to this years.

Disagree 100% - apart from the over-sized front wing, which I admit is really ugly, the 2009 cars are so much better looking than the old ones, simply because all those stupid winglets and boards on the sides are gone. I mean really, the new cars have clear lines and forms to them, something the 2008 ones absolutely lacked.

Can anyone tell me what the differances are between the BMW F1.08b and the F1.09?

F1.09 is more developed. F1.08b was bulky and appeared like half-finished product.

most developed is the nose, front wing and back of the engine cover, but it was all just fine aero shaping. 08b was just basic interpretation of the new rules

I am leaving, I am actually offended

I agree.

I think it depends on what you prefer. If you more interested in aerodynamics more than plastic arts, you can not say the new cars are better looking.

Hopefully some of you will not change your opinion about the Williams when it has its official colours :P

Thanks GP3Hotlaps

BMW should put the Intel Logo at the front endplate and on the engine cover. Looks a bit empty. The rest is ok.

very nice!

from the side anyway. it looks like a whale from the front.

barge boards are still there really, they're just welded onto the car. other than that, very sleek, very clean.

I hope the FIA bans the sharkfins, it has to be clearly written in the rules or the teams will keep interpreting them as they wish.

intel would have to pay for that, and obviously they didn't want to ;)

a bad year for sponsorship at BMW - Dell and Credit Suisse gone, and Intel majorly reduced. they only have two sponsors now; Petronas and T-Systems

Also Ed, notice there seems to be no Dell anymore too.
