On the other hand, could get him a few big breaks.

Hard to hold the steering wheel for a driver if he got a few big breaks on his other hand.

You'd think so, but mr Button proved at Hockenheim that one handed driving is the wave of the future.

Hmm... good news but he will have alot of expectation and pressure

Also i dont him getting into f1 for the wrong reasons, you know the name and cash (the double S company is LOADED!).

Personally I want the name 'Senna' to stay with Da Silva himself, another Senna in F1 would not be the same.

Although good to see the Senna family lift ban on motorsport

id like to see him prove himself first, i know someone trying to get into F BMW atm, and it must be gutting to see a guy who hasnt karted since he was 10 to walk into a top team with no prior experience, however, if he does prove himself, i for one will be suporting him all the way, it would be great, to see the senna name back in F1, Just like it must have been for all those fans of Graham, when Damon got in, or Gilles's fans when jack got in, or Brabhams... etc

If he's good enough to get into F1, he will, if he's not, he'll probably get i with Minardi or someone anyway as a sponsor-net

Bruno's mother had a word with Berger about arranging a drive.

Having friends in[and around] high places still counts.:|

Yeah but for the wrong reasons!

I feel this Bruno could get in F1 because of the wrong reasons, and the Senna name would take a completley different meaning!

Im sure this is good though, but what andrew_s says shows what could happen in the future, like in F1, there could be an amazing driver waiting to get in Minardi then this guy whos not as good walk straight in to a Ferrari!

yeah, Sato also proved around Indy's banked corner that 1-handed driving is the future! he did that a few times through the race.

similar thing to when ralfie came to F1, clearly not as good as older brother.

Yeah that Sato thing was similar to Aryton when he used to drive one handed in karting to get fuel mix right, nobody else did that :)

who was it who kept their hand on the engine or exhaust or something while karting to increase performance? can't remember the exact details of what they were doing, but it proved effective.

what i remember is that senna adjusted his carb to be insanely lean and choked it in the middle of the corner (for where the most fuel is needed, on the exit)
everyone else chokes on the entry to the corner, and apparently it is very hard to choke in the middle to gain the advantage.
