With the testing now begun for 2018, I thought I'd revisit some pictures I took from Barcelona testing ten years ago. I can't believe it's been quite that long ago.

Sebastian Vettel pounds round in the Red Bull, he was a Toro Rosso driver at the time but was covering for David Coulthard who had injured his back.


Sebastien Bourdais gets things a bit wrong and beeches his Toro Rosso in the kitty litter


Jenson Button strides away from his Honda, it having caught fire. Fast forward forward a decade and they're now the all conquering Mercedes team.

Really nice pics, Jimz0r, and impressive that you got so close to the action too.
Basically the only difference in Kubica then and now is that he's lost most of his hair.

Well, its not like there’s been a lack of traffic over here

It's nice when teams change their name but stay in the sport. Stewart is now Red Bull after having been Jaguar.

Tyrrell is now Mercedes having been both BAR and Honda.

The name changes couldn't have been better for Minardi, both with Toro Rosso and Alpha Tauri.

Sauber is now Alfa Romeo.

Force India took over Jordan (isn't it) and now they have become Racing Point and will become Aston Martin.
