Is it just me or is there an impressive amount of innuendo in that one? :P

I think #5 was in 1971 (and #6 for Cevert) as his regular number for that season.

I guess he was meaning "... and still racing."

So, Sauber have confirmed Sutil and Gutierrez, with Sirotkin as test/reserve.

Thank goodness they didn't give Sirotkin a race drive.

In other news Kobayashi is being hinted with a berth at Caterham.

Looking at the interviews, they didn't really have a choice - apparently he hasn't got a super licence yet.

T'would be interesting to see what he can do with that.
I doubt next year's Caterham chassis will be much good, but if the Renault engine is the dog's b*ll*cks then it would be nice :)

...but, if the Renault engine is the dog's b*ll*cks, then Vettel will dominate again...

I'm torn! :(

'Tis nice to see Caterham considering talent over $$$, though - giod on them! ;)

Except Kobayashi has reportedly put together a sponsorship package of maybe up to £6m. Plus.. As far as I'm aware he still has his donations from the Japanese public pit towards a F1 comeback.

Do you think Fernando Alonso will travel even more next year? If you're trying to find the original tweets from Fernando, they have since been deleted - probably as an order from Ferrari... :(

That is a pretty cool Tweet. Hope he will keep travelling that much, that's pretty hardcore. Hope he'll be in F1 for a good few more years too - he owes it to himself to win at least one more title before he retires. Whatever happens he'll probably go down in history as one of the great characters of F1 - the sport has been better and more entertaining altogether for the last 10 years thanks to him being in it.

I like Fernando.

As spotted elsewhere, Max Chilton's Twitter bio no longer mentions him driving for Marussia.

Which means either..

He's signed for Caterham.

Or it's 2014, his contract expired on the 31 December, and it hasn't yet been renewed.

As long as Marussia have not signed Rodolfo Gonzalez, we should be fine.

have to say, the drivers aren't being very original with their choices of car numbers, other than bottas (with 77) I think they need reminding its a choice between 2-99, not 2-27.

I'd go for 88 ;-)

Seeing as testing begins at the end of the month, it kinda makes sense to hold off the launch and do a little media presentation prior to their first appearance on track.

In other news, it appears Kamui Kobayashi will know what he's doing by the end of the week. Seeing as he was linked to Caterham, it might be worth keeping an eye on him...

Apparently Lotus will not take part in the first test at Jerez and plans to unveil the car between Jerez and Bahrain.

Mercedes to unveil the W05 on 28th January.

Mclaren 24th January.

Ferrari on 23th or 25th (not confirmed yet on which day it's gonna happen)

On 28th day testing at Jerez will already start, so I guess Ferrari and McLaren are only ones to reveal their cars before it.

Other teams will just roll out their cars when ever they are ready to hit the road. Most likely on 28 Jan, 19 Feb when testing at Bahrain will start, or just before start of season at Albert Park *cough* Marussia *cough*.

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

Not sure how anyone found out about it as I haven't read it anywhere other than Twitter, but apparently the Driver numbers are to be revealed today
