Many congrats to John Higgins! His 3rd World Championship title, won in mindblowing style, 11 years to the day after his first Championship win in '98. 18-9 the final scoreline. His career stats are now starting to reflect his greatness as a player.
Amazing tournament, great standard of play all the way through. That's reflected by the number of century breaks alone, the new World Snooker Championship record of 83 smashing the previous record of 68 set in 2002.
So that's snooker done now till late summer when the new season will start.
