Well out man Tim Henman won his first match, thank god! Our other man Andy Murray isn't playing this year due to an ongoing wrist injury, so all out British hopes are on Henman!

Oooh dear...

Personally, I still like Roddick and Nedal. :)

And go Sharapova!! :D

I'll be surprised if Nadal reaches the quarter finals. Federer and Roddick for this one, and hopefully Djokovic will do well as well!

About Sharapova, she's been losing consistently to anyone inside top 10, she doesn't vary her game so if the same goes on in Wimbledon, she'll be out ;-). I also heard Serena is not 100%, but maybe she's not far from it so I ignored the TV bullshit. Maybe Mauresmo and that girl who lost to Henin in Roland Garros, Ana something.

People should be able to accept that he was a great tennis player in the past, and just because people think he should retire that doesn't mean he has to. He enjoys his job and obviously still has the ability to win, the only problem is hes just not as consistent anymore.

nah, don't like Daniela at all.

@ TC, he was a great player??? WHEN!?

remind me how many times he's won Wimbledon?

he's never been more than average but the media and fans are deluded every year inthinking that "it will be his year", when in reality, if he can last a week, he's been very fortunate.

He has won Wimbledon 0 times, luckily for him Wimbledon isn't the only tournament in a tennis season. He has been a great player throughout his career thats why he was in the top 10 in the world for so long.

But back in the day until 2001 the ranking would count points from way back and not restart every year, I have to agree with Muks that Henman was nothing more than average (never came into contact with any media hype).

Ranking still doesnt restart every year, race ranking does but not the main one.

Anyone who thinks he was only average is most likely to say something along the lines of "how many times has he won Wimbledon?" You do not get to number 4 in the world by simply being average. Sure he has not won as much as he should, but he still had amazing runs in almost every tournament until recently.

Tim Henman has been one of the best tennis players in the World for the last decade, unfortunately he never managed to win Wimbledon though. Just like Graham Hill never won at Monaco, does that mean he's crap?

4 days in, and there have been quite a few mistakes creeping in from even the top guys so far. Hard to look past Federer for the mens' event, the womens' should be more open but Justien Henin is absolutely on fire at the moment. She's my tip to win!

Ana Ivanovic will go far, but I don't think she'll win... if her French Open performance was anything to go by then she baulks at the big matches. A shame, but no doubt this'll disappear with experience.

Tim Henman is a quite limited player, to reword it perhaps in a better way.

About Henin, would be nice to see her win there but I don't know, it's grass... saw part of the Venus Williams match, I don't like her so I hope someone takes her out of the tournament, she may be a good candidate to win.

Haha, thanks Ric :P. I am surprised with Nadal, definitely a contender of the two major Slams, #1 won't take long to come...

And I loved Gasquet, he played aggressively and his backhand is pretty and effective. I am all in favor of 1-handed backhands, unfortunately Djokovic doesn't play that way and Nadal has 2 forehands.

Muks, you whore ;), I never even considered taking that term to a bad meaning! It pains me that my tennis predictions managed to beat out my World Cup predictions, I love football so much more but I guess I have to blame some coaches :P
