What a wonderful goal - probably one of the best so far.

Why didn't Sven bring on Theo-Never Played A Competitive Match Against Decent Players-Walcott instead of Crouch?

Sven's decision to take him seems even more stupid now if Owen's injury is as bad as it looked.

When Cole chested the ball down i knew he was going to hit it from about 25 yards and shouted at the screen " you F**king Wan..... ( coz i thought he'd waste the ball by hitting it over the bar and into the crowd) and then i was stunned into silence

what a strike!!

Apparently that size is a common thing with people of argentinian descent ;)

Goal = :o

It was amazing!

England are doing really well! Hope Owen is ok!

But yeah! England best not drop off.

And whos that young guy, the 17 yr old? Idont know anything about him or football ;), though i am rather good at it :P, but yeah, why dont they take Rooney off for him. I mean England dont have to win, they want to rest Rooney, and it gives this young 'scamp' a game with not as much presssure as he would get in later matches.

But that comes from someone who will only watch the Liverpool v's United matches, if you get what I mean ;)

Beautiful Cole strike, but I have to say the goalie was badly positioned and took some time to react. I'm not taking away Cole's credit for the play, before I get burned, and I also thought he was going to send it a few meters above the goal :p.

Ah, I think Sven may put Theo in the last 5 minutes for Rooney, if England is still controlling the match!

ps: I think it's ridiculous the press can still get so much access to the locker rooms, I have never seen them take pictures from girls events ;)

Looks like Engerland doesn't want to meet Teutonia but rather hopes for Ecuador in the next round. :p

In light of this and looking at next week's TV listings, the Canadian Grand Prix (Full Live Coverage) will be moved over to ITV2.

I'll take something away from it then... the keeper should have stopped that, as good as it was ;)

And, erm... was that a draw? Ooooh, how convenient for both countries ;-)

Nah, seriously, they both seemed to be going for the win, so fair dues.

Bit like Seaman with Ronaldiniho's flukey goal against us in 2002 :P

England looked a bit more dangerous first half but their defending of set pieces was shambolic and if anything they were lucky to get a draw in the end.
Even though being Welsh I want England to go out at the first possible opportunity ( ;) ) Still feel sorry for Owen if that injury is as bad as it looked, also makes Sven's squad selection look as stupid as I and many others were saying at the time; Why does he takes Jenas, Carrick and Hargreaves of which he'll probably only ever use one and then send Defoe home? Especially when he wont even play Walcott in a match where you're already through to the next round, now if he does ever get used it'll be in a knock out situation and the pressure will be much higher.

I have never understood why the rest of the UK is on Enlglands back in the world cup. Lets face it. The other nations (Wales, Scotland and Norhtern Island will NEVER EVER EVER EVER be competitive so why not support the best team in the UK? AKA England.
