Great Goals and i look foward to their match against Italy :D

After England, USA are the team I wanted to win most because I like their attitude. But after that lol... it's clear they aren't going much further in this competition, and Czech Republic looked awesome! Certainly the best performance thus far. Nedved, Poborsky, Rosicky and Koller were all awesome. The Englihs fan in me hopes Koller's injury won't heal too quickly however...

And to think, they've got Milan Baros sitting on the bench biding his time! Some serious potential there. If they wint he group then they avoid Brazil in the second round too...

Oh how happy I was to watch the US get destroyed, I hate their team so much :D. Would love to see their press and fans crushed! The way they talk themselves up is so repugnant that I actually wouldn´t like to be there to know the excuses they will give and talk about the good things and silly crap. Pretty goal too

Well Gui you asked for it being an American I have heard the following excuses:

-"We are in the most Competitive group"

-"Czech is rated second in the world"

Now as an American I would love to believe this, but we still got beat so onward to 2010!

I'm against sigpics

yeah football (we call it soccer, I don't know why) is not exactly a major sport in th US. American football is (if that is what you guys know it by).

As for Athens in 2004, the team was made of all-stars who were brought together to be the 'ultimate basketball team' but the players were in it for themselves, and they didn't play as a team.

Not to mention many who declined to go! But yeah, I knew I left that one open for Paco to comment :p
