trouble with group spoilers some people wont have seen certain matches in groups, also we wont be having a thread on EVERY game, just those that have members from the community/big popular games.

WOW!! Full-time, what an amazing opening game!

That was brilliant! That last goal from Frings is surely going to be up there as one of the goals of the tournament.

Nice game by both sides, it's difficult to see anyone aside from Wanchope excelling though - and even he didn't 'excel'. Nice finishing, but other than that a fairly quiet game.

It really wasn't that much of a match, even though there was 6 goals. The quality of football, especially the defending on both sides was very poor.

I thought the first by Lahm was technically better, but there you go

What a game. What a start. What a shambolic defense.

Germany better fix their defense, they won't go far because you can't rely on offense to win every game, especially when you win with 4 goals on a team like Costa Rica. But some pretty goals, it's so good to have the World Cup going :D
