WTF!?!?!?!?

Is that an IndyCar, or a car designed to break the land speed record? Just put a jet engine in that thing and we're good to go.

That's the ugliest thing I've ever seen, IMO.

Cheers

I love how they justified the delta's road course ability through rfactor :p

Its too much too soon. The swift looks like a racecar, all versions do... Dallara's look good too, but lets wait for Lola's or has it been shown?

"Trulli was slowing down like he wanted to have a picnic" LOL
Well, and i thougth that F1 Chassis change for 2009 was ugly...

Swift doesn´t look too bad...

That thing won't go around the Speedway at any decent speed, never mind a road course :) I hope they keep something like the current proportions, which are way better than modern F1.

What I gather is that the teams are really annoyed at Dallara charging 650k USD for a car that's 7 years old. What do their F3 cars run? 100, 200k maybe? People say a spec series keeps costs down, but really it just gives the manufacturers a monopoly so they can line their pockets.

Doesn't work like that. If you have a spec series, the car stays the same. You buy it cheap, job done. If you have cars competing, the chassis get developed and costs rise sharply - see CART.

The Dallara costs what it does because it was in competition with other manufacturers when it was being made.

I liked both Dallara and Swift, in fact I think Dallara is better.

The Delta Wing one is ugly, it looks like 80's science fiction...

Swift definitely have most interesting design(s). In one variation look almost like modern (LM) Prototypes. Dallara is not bad either at all, Lola so-so and That Delta Wing, ...c'mon guys be serious lol

roflmfao @ this.

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it
What i dont understand is, how they can model the grip and tyre models and suspension etc without having a working prototype? they are throwing random values at it. really stupid
