He stood no chance in that impact there was nothing left of the car, it was like it turned into powder.

Why the hell was the wall layout like that in the first place?!?

What you see splashing up is water... that isnt the car. But still, R.I.P.

Corona cars aren't particularly fast when it comes to stock car racing. That type of wall isn't particularly unusual either. There have been far harder hits than that, at much higher speeds, in almost identical impact conditions. The hit itself didn't look bad, but the car just blew itself apart.

The hit was no worse than say, Jeff Gordan, Las Vegas, 2008. Had that been in a Truck, Nwide, or Cup car, it wouldn't have been fatal. The fact the roof came off shows the car had a pretty series issue (either by fault, or by design).

Racing incident, such a bad point to hit the wall too. Very sad (They really shouldnt have angled walls like that so close to the track, if at all. If that had just been against a flat wall he would have been fine)

Jesus....it wasn't that fast and yet it was blown to pieces...those cars must have serious side-impact issues...
