Yep, got my tickets through the door the other day. So excited - Goodwood FOS on Friday then World Series on the saturday and sunday

cuz i kept clicking enter when i filled in the form and it didnt work probably cuz it was firefox but iut works now but the problem i have now is getting somebody who could give us a lift there or catch the train and then find somewhere to stay

Does anyone know where the cheapest accommodation is in the Silverstone area? I've done a search for hotels etc in the area but they all seem to be on the expensive side.

My guess is camping. Last time I went to Silverstone was 2004 British GP, camping was £15 for the weekend outside of Club/Stowe.

Get there early people as last year at Donington it was a nightmare for the traffic, think 80'000 turned up for it and to quote the Lilt advert, it was total gridlock!

ESSENTIAL OILS aren't essential unless you're an engine, a gearbox or a twat

The year before last (again at Donington) we travelled down 200 miles or so, got onto the sliproad off the M1, spent the next 3 or 4 hours getting up to the round-about around 500 metres up the sliproad, saw the queue for the track itself was still massively long, so decided to miss the circuit, go for something to eat, head back the 200 miles home again and go bowling instead. :D

Renault world series was at Silverstone last year not Donny.

Traffic is a huge problem. I massively underestimated how busy it would be... I live in Northampton and can get to Silverstone in about 15mins (just cruising 80 ish). I left my house last year at 10am and managed to get to the circuit just in time to see the F1 demo at 12.30pm!!!!!!! 2and half hours sitting in hot traffic jam.... so will be leaving bloody earlier this year lol
