Goodwood Festival of Speed 2006 ( 56K Warning )

Went to Sundays event, took some photos.

Some quite nice cars there that i've always wanted to see in the flesh, plus the Rally stage has been increased in length this which made the spectacle even better

I went, got a fair few autographs to add to my ever growing collection.

I'm trying not to sound big-headed, but it's not working, is it?

Were the F1 cars using special tyres or are they wets?

They use wets all the time at Goodwood, simply because the uphill course is relatively short for an F1 car and they need to generate the heat into the tyres asap,

Its one of the few times its good for an F1 car to have wet tyres on a dry track

I wanted to go this year, but I'd have to do both days which gets a bit expensive especially travelling down half the country

It says A. Pr.... on the air intake, so I think it's Any Priaulx.

yes it was Andy Priaulx, i didn't manage to get one of him without his helmet on

I believe they are trying to organise a similar thing at bathurst around easter weekend.

The Helmet of the BMW Sauber driver looks really cool - who is he ?
