virus warning, VERY important

If ANYONE is talking to me on MSN messenager and i tell you bout a site and give you a URL, then ASK ME BEFORE GOING! Theres a virus going through MSN, it sneds it to all the contact your talkinmg to, and its spreading at a huge rate. I duno what it does but its obviously not good.

Same goes for LS, hes got it off of me, maybe Habi and Owian Shaw too, maybe others, be carfull, ask before going to the URL as the person who you think is telling you to go doesnt know that its telling you to go to this site.

Like i said. i duno what it does, hopefully nothing, but carfull please

The easy solution is don't use MSN, and use something easier like ICQ...

Its sad to think some people (in asia mostly) make money put of damagin other ppls computers.

I know what that virsu is doing

It chages CD keys/serial numbers.

My mate went to the site, and now his Half-Life, Counter-Strike and Word are all saying invalid Serial Numbers, and one of his mates is having the same problem and another one of my contacts is now having the problem

BUT i dont have the problem, LS doesnt have the problem, go figure

Despite ICQ being around for longer than MSN, i've never had a virus sent to me on it. It gets awfully boring not having a virus! :P

Well i have had MSN a long long time and only got two viruses ever, and havent heard of much more.

I duno if theres a fix or program to help it, try Norton, if not then just copy down your CD Keys, or you should still have the origionals (if not your copying illegal software, naughty boys ) and then if it says invalid Serial number then just input the working one

I have never recieved a virus, wow i must be virus prone or something. BTW Thats not an invitation to send me one

msn is easier for pplto send bugs through apparently.. but msn is also an easier messenger prog unlike icq, which sometimes takes foreva to send "instant" msgs

Actually, Skaifey, it doesn't take that long to send an Instant message in ICQ. Starting a conversation is the best way to have a conversation on ICQ, and you can see the other person's typing just as it appears on the screen, typos and all! :P

hmmmm.... i like MSN because....everything is so cool. eg smileys. They are just great

And a lot more stuff, its simple, you turn on your computer (and connect to internet) and you already chat
