My GPGSL Career

Well, I'm Rod_vs. I'll use this nick to tell about championship.

Ryan, about your team-mate, I changed this only to put a German running with Audi engines. And I put an Italian as your tam-mate. But if you want to change, you order... )

These are the rules of GrandPrixGames Superleague - GP3 2000:

HOW TO JOIN

People can join on championship with a team or only running. For people who send a team, the layout don't be exactly the same to both cars. All of them need to send me cars, helmets, team logo, team wall and informations about team and drivers. The only requirement is about tobacco sponsors. I won't permite them. It's not necessary you send me hotlaps. The game was only watched by me. All cars will be driven by computer. Team owner can change drivers at once.

RACES

There are 17 stages, with two races each one, like GP2 Series®, totally 34 races.

DRIVERS PERFORMANCE

Based on 2009 results and five performances races, that will happen before championship begins. The driver who won 2009 season earns 10 points for running performance races; the second, 8 points; third driver, 6 points; and continues: 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. At the end of these five races, the driver who have more points will have the best performance (17000), but will have no range. The second will have will have 5 performance points lower, but a range of 5 more than the best driver. The next one got 10 performance points lower, but a range of 10 more than the best one. And so on and on.

TEAMS PERFORMANCE

Same as drivers performances. The team that won 2009 season earns 10 points to performance races, and continues: 5, 3 and 1. The best-pointed team will have 820 bhp and failure value of 3000; the second team, 819 bhp and failure value of 2900...

DRIVERS BOOST

On each Full Race victory, drivers won 5 performance points (and lost 5 ability range points). On Sprint Race, the gain is 2 points, with no ability range losts. The maximum gain is 30 PP, even if some driver get more points in theory.

TEAMS BOOST

Every team is given 15 boost BHPs. These boosts will be used in all season, but team owner don't use all points at once. The boost will increase the teams speed, but also increase failure value (1 BHP = 20 failure). Team owners should choose the best race to use the points (5 points each time).

QUALIFYINGS

During 45-minutes. Only one qualifying for both races. The position grid of sprint race are inverted. I'll make this inversion changing by the "qualification driver performance": the pole will be the lowest value; the second, 500 more than pole. This values will be changed every race, but it doesn't interfere in Performance Points used to make the qualifying and both races. It's only to determine sprint race grid. To full race, I'll use the normal qualification result.

NUMBER OF LAPS

Sprint race: 30% of laps. Full race: 70% of laps.

POINTS

First race: pointed first 8 drivers: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. On second race, pointed the first 15 drivers: 25, 20, 16, 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. More two points on pole (Full Race) and one point to the fastest lap on full race.

Rod, you should give every team-manager a free hand.

I don't see any sense to give a team a driver, which the team don't want.

Vandusk, I'm going to theorize that the team members are choosen randomly... OK, not so randomly, but I think that's to prevent situations like one driver (not) being choosen because the other one that was choosen is "coolest"...

Look at me, I'm entering with a new team and I simply didn't have a clue to who I could choose as my teammate...

Suggestion, Rod: please list the available drivers and their EXP next time...

@Erick: A list like in the Thread of the GP4 Series would be nice, sure. Then it would easier to pick up a driver.

Changing drivers throughout the season cannot be right. A team should start and end the season with the same drivers, unless the team owner wishes to change his drivers. How can a driver possibly win the championship fairly if he is being moved from team to team, and that will also affect the constructors championship.
That is if I understand correctly what's going on with that.

People, stay calm, please... I need to understand the things.

First of all: Florian, I put a topic about changing driver only IF team manager wants. And I put drivers on team only to finish carset.

You, team managers, are TOTALLY FREE to choose driver! But I'm praying for all, since JULY, to choose drive, and nobody choose... I need to put for myself.

Remember: you are free to choose, but, please, more fast!!!

Second... Mal, my intention is: team start and finish championship with the same couple, obvious. But, IF team manager wants to change, example, because some driver abbandon GP3, he can change ONCE.

I won't permite that every race has different driver.

Erick explains perfectly what I try to said about driver... so, Ryan and Erick, choose your drivers!

lol is funnier reading here that the actual F1 drivers market
if only all drivers were active was cool to do rople playing each race with drivers and managers decide how to share the performance bonus.

If a team carry any alcohol sponsors (Johnny Walker, Stella Artois, etc...), those ads must be dropped on races at France and islamic countries, where those advertisings are forbidden...

About making a car:
*Engine, tyres (Michelin or Bridgestone) and fuel company needs show on layout.
*No tobacco sponsors. Only tobacco!! Why can't I put alchool? Simple: there's no exist a campaign against alchool. And a tobacco is bad for people who don't smoke, too. Opposite than alchool! BUT, IF all of you agree to retire sponsors on French GP (the only that this forbidden), OK...
*Cars can't have EXACTLY layout. Little changes, to better visualization on race videos.
*A prayer, only, to maintain a failry order on sponsors. See on older site (gp32koc.bplaced.net) some examples, like Seropedica, One, Ace... but it's only a PRAYER, not an ORDER!
