I agree, it looks very fine. And I see that you try to copy the real buildings (first building with a lot of glass at the right side of the start/finish straight)!! Thats a good idea, it makes it looks authentic. Plesase keep up the good work...... :-)

So... let me ask the question again... who is willing to join a 24 Hours Le Mans race in June 2007 ? I will be there for sure.

LeMans fans please note that LeMans sounds for GP3 now are available from download section. A range of sounds from snd00 to snd32 are made for the new LeMans 24h track. Also pit radio added to the happenings.

@ shlund:
Also saw a LeMans Audi Gulf 2001 in the download section, is it possible
to use The Smoking Pen or Bojan Tarticchio car template, because the
Lamaire cars look terrible.

Happy racing from Germany !!!

I do agree about the simple look of the Gulf Audi 2001. I am no good with paint shop pro or simular, but I have in this forum also recommended carset makers to make some LeMans carset as the only one available is the 2001 from Lamaire.
Thanks for your commentary, hope that someone could be able to make us some fine LeMans carsets in near future as well as some good carshapes - open and closed proto types. Keep up the good work. :-)

I have LeMans carsets v. 1.01, v. 2 and Legend v. 3 from Lamaire, they are
very simple but better than nothing.

Happy racing from Germany !!!

Well... Not easy to make a good Le Mans carshape and keep some areas unchanged so that the words, logos and most of the drawings are not deformed !
What about a night version? :)

I did think about that and I was considering of asking Karl Sanders (with permission from Mario first of course) to convert the jams files into night jam files.

But maybe he got something up in his sleeve? ;-)

I will post my WIP here:
[membres.lycos.fr] (at the bottom)

For the ones who want to try, the main measurements are:
width= -1500 / 1500
length = as the original = -3680 / 3680

I start with the original GP3 carshape.
The side barges will be used to close the cockpit.
The cockpit will be moved forward, but stay in the middle.

Feel free to comment.

We don't know yet. It will all be revealed.

But I am still interested on how the track project is going (maybe, with more screenshots? ;-))

Well friends, here I am again.

My LeMans circuit is at about 80% developing level. If I will have not strange problems and I could find the necessary time to work to it, the track will be ready for the beginning of February. Consider that to realize a GP3 track with the maximum of realistic scenery (the same of the real circuit) I spend 3 months of daily work (3 hours a day). Consider also that LeMans is almost 150% in lenght of a long F1 track so it has many more details, buildings, and so on.
Have a little patience.
I do not show any other screenshot, because I want that you all discover the circuit and enjoy it the right moment (like a fine woman, it must be desired).

ciao a tutti.

Marino
