yup it's the tigher/wider value wich makes the cars anticipate the braking forcing to stay on the ccline.

Jacki if you are interested I made a new ccline in the Funidora Park for my personal use. If you need it I can pass it to you...

Fundidora Park is the only GP3 track from the CART 2001 through 2005 seasons with CC-line problems. Other GP3 CART fans would very probably like to have a version of this circuit with an improved CC-line as well.

I just dug up the CD with my old tentative F1-1977 physics and had a look at them.
I remember that I gave up working on my F1-1977 physics and performance because there were so many tracks from that season with such serious CC-line problems that it made trying to use the tracks to set realistic physics and perfomances really pretty much practically impossible, and my physics file looks so poor to me that I hope that you will forgive me if I demur from making it public.

what value do you mean by tighter/wider?
my thought is that shorter cc line segments affect the braking/acelerating some how, but i havent got round to testing it yet.
the good thing is that cc lines are (reasionably) easy to edit.
i' working on some 2005 dtm tracks for gp4 and will probably try some experimenting with it.

@Jacki - no problems. i'll try out your 1985 data when i get the chance.

I often have that information, but not for most photographs, I'd say.

If I remember, using the same magicdata+perf. the laptime decresed by almost 3 secs with the new ccline. In the file I sent, you have to change the magicdata as it's not the original one.

@b-tone
check the ccline tutorial for pics and info about it. Since I used this value the AI seems has made miracles... I dunno about short ccline sectors, I never have good feedback by using the short sectors.

I've got it now.

Nice job, not only is the problem with the one turn where the AI constantly
ran off the track fixed, but the CC-line is much better overall, and the AI
no longer clip any corners.

do you have a link to the cc tutorial? i guess its for gp3, but should still be relevant for gp4.

(It might be called "Monterrey".)

I tried to get the track from the site but the link seemed dead to me. The same for all the Hernan's tracks and a big amount of stuff... Is it me who have this problem?

enter the site in my signature for the tutorial. It's more easy if you see with your eyes.
If you open the dialog box of the ccline sectors you can see a cell in the right called tighter/wider. Adding a value there, the cars seem to anticipate the braking in the tight turns. 256= 1 unit. Most used values are around 100.
I dunno about Gp4 facts...

The download of the Fundidora Park track on this website worked for me a minute ago.

I've just got the mail from a man from Hockenheim's official site, saying that the top speed reached during the 1980 Grand Prix was 291 kph.

We were not wide off the mark, were we?

I'm looking for top speeds of each track for seasons 1995 to 2003 ...
