Hi to all,

I have just uploaded a couple of track updates, looking to the date you can take it as a little christmas present to the community: :-)

CART & other tracks section:

Anneau du Rhin, original track by Alessandro Zocco, thanks to Alessandro for permission to publish this track
Misano,
Vallelunga, original tracks by Marino Cervini, thanks to Marino for permission to publish the tracks

Fictional tracks section:

Egypt, the pyramids track, original track by Augusto E. Dewey, thanks to Augusto for permission to publish this track
Rosberg Circuit, original track by Kristof Vercammen

... and a number of Roberto Scandura tracks, unfortunately I didn't get an answer from him relating these tracks, but I've got a former permission to publish track updates
so I think it should be ok:

CART & other tracks section:

Alastaro
Albi 1994-2002
Albi 2004 proposed
Braga 2002
Croix en Ternois
Mont Tremblant 2003
Phakisa Freeway 2003
Vairano Test Track
Vila do Conde 2002

Fictional tracks section:

Big City 2004
Coppermine Park 2003
Autodromo Torretta 2004

Have fun!

Regards,

Zieli

Zieli, some months ago I said to Scandura and he says me that all beta tracks are free to update!!! (Dirk made it with Estoril).

Another suggestion: Surfers Paradise (Scandura made an excelent beta version. Not, it needs to put scenery and objects).

Hi Rod,
I know, even my updates are based on finished Scandura tracks (as I told I've got a former permission for the track updates published about 2 years ago)
I know about a beta version of Surfers Paradise made by Roberto, but not available for me at the moment
Where can I get it from?

regars, zieli

Uwe, it can be found in Roberto's beta track pack.
[gadareth.altervista.org]
Its a plain track, no scenery ...nothing

I know i promised Rodrigo to work on it, but i'm pretty busy lately :(

Would it be an idea to update this real life track: "Circuit Paul Armagnac" (Nogaro) as it has been used for Blancpain Series, Caterham etc..? :-)

is there any track version available for gp3 at the moment?

Hi Uwe :)

The new track i refered to was Anneau du Rhin... (Y)

The Nogaro track is available in download section "Other tracks" ... It's a GP2 conversion and it needs a lot of work.

I did some work on the track and if you would like to check it out you can test it here: [www95.zippyshare.com]

(I know the track is no good at the moment, but if someone kindly could repair the pitlane entrance and exit I would be very thankful - please use above new link)

I think I should go and release the Nogaro dat I made several years ago and never finished.
It's only the dat file with no scenery, no ccline, no object, only the track with the elevation heights of this rather flat track.
If someone is eager to take it complete it just let me know. (this goes as well for the other tracks I've started)

I think it's a good idea to release and share whatever tracks we have in our archives.... (Y)

In this way they might have a chance to be updated to a fair standard and to be used by the community... so please upload them, lets say as a 'beta track pack'.. :-)

Thanks in advance Eric... :)

Hi !!!

I saw inside the DAT file, item Jam Files(103) that Nogaro Track should have 17 JAM.... ( Nogaro Track GP2 conversion from [www.grandprixgames.org] )

See at line 86 "generic\imol" and 87 to 102 the folder "tpack01\imol"

Are they necessary ?

Where are they ?

You are right, these jams are not necessary, but they were in the .dat file from the download section.... I cleaned up a little bit in my test .dat (see above post - zippyshare, new upload) but in fact the track has so many bugs that we could do better with a brand new .dat file like Moinet mentioned. Hope we in that way can have a decent version of the "Circuit Paul Armagnac" (Nogaro)...

Hi !!!

You said "these jams are not necessary".... but it is missing some scenarios !!!!

I got these 17 JAM files from "F1 Season 2002 Track Pack v1.3 for GP3 v1.13" AUTHOR: Matti Laitinen

Now some of them works.... others no.... :-(

I have "tpack_2001_v2.0.rar" too, but it is corrupted..... the author is the same... Do you have it ? I can not find !!!

Some suggestion ? Maybe ID JAM could be wrong... ?!?!?

Your track is Ok !!!

PS. I found "tpack_2001_v2.0.rar" here => [www.racingmag.de] But I'm not having success to download...

evandro, if nogaro is a gp2 conversion, it might be that not all objects / scenery cmds have been converted, even when you have all jams from the tree.
If you could find the gp2 track, and do the conversion yourself and keep all objects and cmd, it might look slightly better.
Its possible that you need to enter a 'ribbons on' cmd in t0 to make the scenery visible.

Or you could wait voor eric's track ;-)

Anneau du Rhin is not completely new, there is a present original track, but it's very basic, so my published track is a "very big update"
If someone else will work on Nogaro it is better than waiting for a track from my side, because my next projects are already defined,
(next 17 tracks, finishing Hockenheimring) and there is not much time for additional work
