Sound Problem!

Hi Everyone!

I downloaded a sound thing last week and used GPxPatch to insert it into the game. Unfortunately, being the bum it is, I can't play it now and I did everything right. How do I cure this problem? I'M DESEPARATE TO PLAY AGAIN!

ermm.....that really doesn't help us. What "sound thing" exactly did you install? and like SuperSonic said, *always* keep a backup. I think at last count I have three installs of GP3...(one original, a 2002 season and a 2003 season)

I downloaded a file called tomsound if thats of any help!

i think the tomsound package is for the pitsound. So you have to copy all the files in the sound folder in GPxPatch. Then open the engine ini in GPxPatch ''GPxSound'' and open and configure the soundset ini in ''GPxPatchSound''. THis should work and you sould hear the sound.

Isn't Tomsound all mp3 files? If so you probably did not convert the to *.wav files.

That would be headbashing against the screen for a minute I guess....

I tried Quickslick's method and that did nothing! Anyone else got ideas?

I'm sorry, but i couldn't find this Tomsoundpackage. Can you send the two files to me with an Email?

It's was the engine sound set file in Sound section that I downloaded
