Request for a particular track from Major Tom and having issues

Hopefully get a reply.
I've only just rediscovered GP3 after being away from it for 20 years and was after a Nurburgring Nordschleife track mentioned byposter
mr_maniac
a) hopefully it was a mod for GP3
b) hopefully its easy to find online and add to GPXPatch.

But rusty in getting external tracks to work..gp3 says invalid file type when adding the .dat file in gpxpatch and selecting the track in the gp3 options..all the jam files are where they're supposed to be...any suggestions?

below is a link with the Nordschleife. There are two versions included. The original one by Major Tom and a second updated one by elio. To get the gp3 track to work, you have to insert the md file in the gp3 track dat with the cmagic editor

If you download my F1 1969, 71, 73 , 74 or 76 megapatches you will have a carset appropriate for the old nurburgring and ther track there to use with menus and all.

Just one more question...
again forgive me, i last played this 20 years ago so things are a bit hazy..
There used to be an editor to change CC pitsop windows, force them to either 1 or 2 stops during a certain number of laps.
I'm unable to find a link of a forum that allows me to download the editor file, they got to web sites that were closed down years ago.

Anyone can point me to a Pit & Lap editor utility program please?

Still having the problem with GP3 not being able to verify a 3rd party track.
Hopefully I'm using the decrypted GP3.exe file, whether that has a impact on it.

This is what i've done
fresh install of Gp3 from the ISO
patched to 1.13
presumably (?) changed the GP3.exe file to decrypted version 1.13 noCD (but unsure how to verify)
installed GPxPatch 4.52

everything works up to now with the default tracks.
now I'm trying to load the 2015 Baku track.
I've added the magic data into the .dat file, used GPxPatch to load the .dat file (i've tried all 16 slots) in the circuits folder, jams are n their correct folders
everytime I'm trying to load the track into the game, I get "Wrong file type", retry/Abort
have i missed something in the install? Using the default liveries/carshapes etc at this time.

it's difficult to say what's wrong, because i don't have Baku and i even don't play gp3 for a long time. Here at the link you can find the decryted gp3 exe [www.grandprixgames.org] so you can try, if it works

Have you enabled the 'debug mode' in the first tap in GPxPatch?
This is needed to get most tracks to work...
And perhaps try to set the track length to 10 or 20km in the 'GPxTrack' tab.
