Hardware recomendation

Hi all

My laptop dedicated to playing GP3 stopped working a few weeks ago (Thinkpad T60).

I have bought a new laptop, a Lenovo Thinkpad T430 and it is working fantastically well so I want to recomend it to anyone using GP3 looking for a new laptop.
I am running Windows 7, which I dont have any problems with.
About the laptop itself ... I got it for £90 on ebay. The spec is 8MB of RAM, 500MB hardrive, Intel i5 processor 2.60 ghz
What is really great is for the past 20 years I have had to deal with PO of 120% and higher in the rain. This laptop stays around 40-60% and has no problem with rain, so I finally feel like I am racing at proper speed.

There is one drawback. The processor does not like absolute black (0/0/0) so I have to use Jam editor to fix Jam by Jam or replace black in each image with a slightly lighter shade.
I will be updating all my megapatches to account for this.

..wow! - changing all JAMs including the color black - I would never have the nerve for this kinda action.

Maybe it is a driver related issue, maybe use an older one. Maybe WinXP would work? You have DirectX7.1 installed?
