Font shadow - GPx Info Panel

Hello there,

Is there a way I can add font shadow to the default manana font in the info panel so it appears the same as the Classic font in GPx Sat?

Advanced options

Some options can only be specified in gpxsat.ini

[Classic]
FontShadow=?

If 0 = no shadow
If 1 = shadow

Description: Show a black font shadow under the text to make it more readable.

By default the value is 1, so that's why it doesn't even appear in GPxSAT !!!

[Classic]
CarsPerPage=8
Type1=classic_m.tga
Type2=classic_b.tga
FontShadow=0

If you want to test it and add the line in the gpxsat.ini file to see if anything changes.

I didn't notice anything different.

Thanks Evandro - it makes no difference to how my Sat or panel looks either. Oh well, it’s not a problem.

Do you know by any chance how to modify the in game menu text? Every time I change the text in the language file .str in the Idata folder it corrupts the whole menu in the game to become unreadable?

By the way. does someone know why the classic yellow.tga used - I thought - to show numbers in the classic Sat version, in the gpxPatch 4.24 works with alpha channel and doesn't show the black around the numbers, instead in the 4.44 it does?
Basically, is there some params in .Sat file, to show the classic numbers as 4.24 style, instead as the 4.44 ? I have tried to replace also the gxm, but they are not compatible, I supposed there where some params to set a "transparent" black part?

Version 4.10
GPxSAT: Added shadow to font in Classic mode.

This means that before this version there was no shadow font

It would be better to contact the author and ask for some help.
