Confused GP3 decrypted version

Hi everyone,
I've been looking for the decrypted version of GP3 (the 8MB version), but am coming up with what looks like an odd error. I can't seem to patch files from GP Edit for GP Master and when I attempt GP3 Commander, I get the following message:
"You must use GP3.exe who have filesize equals EXACTLY 8822784 bytes. F1GSTATE.SAV savegame file exists, but maybe corrupt (bad checksum or size)."

The version of GP3 I have is currently at 8835072 bytes and the F1GSTATE.SAV is at 88334 bytes. I am at a loss; is there a way to repatch or correct this?

For added info, I am (trying to) run GP3 on Windows 7, 64-bit, AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core, 2.00 GHz, with 4.GB of RAM.
