F1 1982

Hi all

I am going to make an F1 1982 megapatch in early 2022.
I used to have a special graphic file that made sure that the shadow under the car showed no front wing fins, as cars that year generally did not have them. But I can't find it. Does anyone have it?

I didn't really understand what you were looking for, but looking at the post from Octos I realized it was "carshape 1982 no front wing.cs3"

That is it OCTOS! Ideal, brilliant, thanks so much.
So, once I have finished F1 2021 and 2012 I can get on with 1982. Once that is done, I'll have megapatches going all the way from 1981 to 1989.

Hi Octos - I was surprised that your 1982 carset was so much better than the one I had on file. I thought the one I had was the best. So thanks for that. I plan to make mega patches for 1980 and 1992 in the future and my carsets for these are similarly poor quality. I wonder if you have a good version of each of these that you'd be willing to share? If so, thanks in advance!

Thanks Octos! As I predicted, your 1980 sets are much better than what I had, so thanks for that. They may appear in a megapatch some time in 2025! My 1992 set is not looking so bad now I see yours! Let me know if you need a better one and I can share.

Thank You,but as you intend to make a megapatch with this year,worth the wait and see.

What I'm going to say now is just a personal opinion.Hamilton is very good.But who saw Mansell run with:Senna.Prost,Piquet,Fittipaldi,Unser Jr and many others.Two titles. Deserved much more.

Next megapatch will be F1 1982. Its well on the way to completion. About 70% done. F1 2012 is also well developed.
So look out for those!
