GP3Edit error

Hello,
i clean up my GP3 Collection. I have many carsets (.gp3) with funny names.
now i make a doubleclick to look what is inside on these files and it starts gp3edit evertime with an error.

with FILE --> OPEN at gp3edit it works.
what is the problem? can anybody help me?
i have try compatiblity modes "Windows 98", "Windows XP SP3" or Adminrights but that ERROR is still there.

i use Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

I've Win7 64 bit and the same thing happen to me : it's when I try to open a carset, cliking on the file.
So I run GP3edit and I open the carset file after.

is there any solution for open by clicking on the file?

I found through Google some old posts but nothing conclusive.

This also happens to me on Win7 64 bit

In Windows XP 32 bit everything works perfectly.

As far as I could see the GP3 tools were developed for 32-bit systems and some of them do not work in 64-bit

For example:

I have a tool called "md2-md Converter.exe" that only runs on Windows XP

That's why I keep my good old PC active.
