Yes, excellent work.

I found in the track collection a phoenix version with the correct lay-out. Its not to bad. For cananda there is a montreal 1990 version with the correct lay-out except for the last chicane.
How about a 1993 patch. or an upgrade for the 1991 patch? Thanks for your efford.

but Let's try to have care about car physic. Also the sound is like 3.0V10,
89 had V10 and V12 but 3.5 , more RAM effect by the Bonnet because
normally aspired, it made sound noise.
but rpm! W Happened to RPM? 1989 engine over 15000 rpm?
Let's use these files about car physic (tyres, weight, Cx ) ,
and sound.

Mind you need export physic with physic editor in the game,
it's old version physic file,
doesn't work with gpxpatch .

i've uploaded the update for the '89 Silverstone track, more accurate adverts and objects have been added.
It has a new jam folder, so you will not lose any original files.

I have to agree with what you wrote. If you have a better sound file, I would be happy to use it. If you are skilled in improving physics file that would be a big help too.

I have now made some updates to the F1 1989 Megapatch. Download here:

F1 1989 version 2 UPDATE

The main changes are improvements to:

Silverstone - thanks making massive improvements, Holemad, all around the track and adding the bridge on hanger straight
Phoenix - thanks for sharing a better version Evandro Roic
Hungary - thanks Uwe Zeilbauer, for removing the chicane at turn three from the 1987 version

Hi elio. I downloaded your new version 89 megapatch and I ll have a look.
About sound and physic , just dowload it and use, by the link I posted.
for use it, just put the gp3sound.dat file in Samples folder in GP3 (have a backup your file before).
then,
in GP3 Advanced Physic Editor (version 1.01, VERSION IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE NEW VERSION DOESN'T READ SOME PARAMS), open the file fisica_1989.g3p
and click update gp3.exe.
There is an important effect on the cars behavior,
so, mind the physic was designed on the maximum Bhp 720 qualify 700 in race in carset,
estimated end 89 12V engines.

I SAW YOU USE gp3v AS EXECUTABLE FILE IN GPXPATCH.
SO, AFTER UPDATE PHYSIC, MIND REGENERATE Gp3v.exe BY GP3VIDEO TOOL

I have quite a big collection of sounds, I will go through them to see if one is a better match for 1989. The one I am using is a better fit for earlier turbo sounds. It needs to be more 'screeching'

Yea, mind in the last two years turbo , rpm grew and sound was more mixture turbo-aspirated, because FIA limitations 3 bars and 1.5 bar in 88,
so, if hear on boards on youtube , 88 was similar to aspirated but turbo release whistles.
The samples I used for 89 -90 sounds is catched by onboards videos, like this .

I already had one of these problems and found out. It was the version of my WINRAR.

The version I had did not open large files.

After I downloaded a new version, I was able to open it.
