A couple of years ago, the Belgians suddenly said no tobacco advertising before the race which meant that the teams had to use their no tabacco adverts at the last minute, think it was 99.

Ferrari though used something different if you remember, something with the official Formula 1 logo so:

1. Anyone know where i can find the car livery for that ferrari for GP3, and if not, is it just a case of cutting and pasting the official F1 logo over the marlboro adverts?

2. Did any other teams do anything unusual that they wouldn't normally do for a no tobacco race?

3. Did any of that make sense?

Thank you, sorry if someone asked this before

I don't want to be a spoil sport, but aren't these liveries already included in RH season pack 1999, as it offers all liveries of all races? As far as I remember the 2001 pack had the special Monza liveries the team ran because of September, 11th 2001.

Anyway, even if it is already there, please do these liveries, Gord_on_wheels. We are happy about everything that makes the community live. :)

Ralph Hummerich did not make a 1999 F1 carset for GP3 or for any other game. He made 1996, 2000, and 2001 F1 carsets for GP3 and a 2001 F1 carset for GP3-2000. The best 1999 F1 carset for GP3 was made by Jan Frischkorn before GP3-2000 came out. It contains one set of tobacco liveries and one set of non-tobacco liveries only. I don't believe that anyone every made any 1999 F1 carsets for GP3-2000 at all, much less any with different liveries for all of the races.

The BAR used the slogan "Run Free" instead of the red circle on Belgium that year. I plan to make a MEGA carset for Gp3 including every single livery for gp3 from the 99 season. Including, of course, the Ferrari Spa version. Go to [www.schlegelmilch.com] (Schlegelmich photography) there you can find really GREAT pics from the 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 season!

i rekon the most boring race of all time was spain '99, i wasted 2 and a half hours of my life for the same finishing positions as teh grid and one overtaking monuvoure...i hate the catalunya circuit, its so plain and desolate and boring.

Hungary every year is so tedious, how I hate that boring slow track. Having said that, two races do come to mind there. Hill nearly winning in an Arrows in 1997 and Mansell's great win from 12th on the grid in a Ferrari, including a brilliant pass on Senna to take the lead.... 1989 I believe :)

Cheers Stu :)

I went to my first, and so far only "away" race in Belgium '99. What a bloody race to go too! 44 laps and they didn't even do a lap of honour :o/ At least we got to see Diniz making a tit of himself and spinning of at Radillon! lol
