GP2 to GP3 conversions

about changing the position of the pitcrew from right to left
open the object definitions tree / look for object 4 pit crew and change the DFC value from positive to negative or vice versa

that should be all !

btw, i converted that cyprus track without a problem

Thank you very much for tip, you were right.. The DFC and the angleX needs a (-)value and all is good

The winter package is now updated.... 9 tracks in total with their own folders and a common 'Winter3jam' folder.

Super! The winter-tracks are more than testtracks. Very nice horizons, snowy trackborders, tyres-trackborder, trees, tower, ..
Too many new tracks for deeper testing, but "Bikernieki, USSR (Riga)"-tracklayout is so great to drive!

ps: I remember another winter-track including a big skijump-ramp, forgot the name. Someone knows?

I did a test drive in GP2 and think it is a rather fantastic idea. Could be fun if we could have the track for GP3 as well, but it requires scenery outside the fencing to work visualy imho... :>

if the scenery is good in the gp2 track, we can make it in the conversion

I tried to make a couple of new winter tracks.... Needs the 'Winter3jam' folder (please download for newest version 8.15MB)

- Oval Insel in wintertime just for the fun of it (the summer version is included)

- Skarpnack, Sweden - old airfield track!

- Thornbjerg, Denmark, fictional layout

- Jaguar Test Track in wintertime

Please pay attention to the 'read me' files (GP2form) as all credit and thanks is given to the original authors of the GP2 tracks...

Soon available in download section...

I've been looking for some nordic tracks for the winter package and found this fictional track, Hellesylt, Norway:

I just have to admit that my skills are very very much limited so this track is to big a handful for me regarding converting and making of scenery..

Should someone feel like doing something different, then perhaps you might consider this fine track from John Edwards :>

I did a little experiment on the Bogota conversion, Vol.4 'GP2 to GP3 conversions'.

Using Scanduras HD textures for walls, barriers etc from his Laguna Seca beta track, I managed to use some of them on the Bogota circuit. In my opinion these HD bitmaps (256x1024 - vertical position in jam) is a great improvement.

Especially when looking at the tyre barriers and walls inside the game....nice and clear with almost no pixelation.

Evandro was very helpful and fixed the cc-line bugs in the conversions and added yet another Brazil track to the list.

The download package is updated with the newest fixes and a with a couple of 'winter editions' as well (Winter3jam folder required)...

Evandro's stock car track from Brazil is now to be found as a Formula E version with some HD jams.

The Vizcacha track, Chile is also made as a Formula E version (sponsors from the Santiago ePrix and with Santiago horizon).


And thanks to Holemad we can present a brand new GP2 to GP3 conversion: Trois Riveires, Canada made as a Formula E version with some HD jams.

All tracks to be found with the newest season four Formula E season sponsors.
