new projects

I uploaded an update for the spanish gp
Apparently i didn't test it thoroughly for 2K, I missed 1 overlapping texture with some car livery.

for information only : due to some important changes in my life, i will not have the time anymore for intensif modding, and to finish the season '17 and '16.
I hope i can still do spa and texas, and maybe mexico...but i will not touch all the other tracks.
and there are still some retro tracks on my HD in a beta phase which i can make available if wanted

Thank you very much for information Dirk. It's fully understandable that other important things have to be a priority. Perhaps once in a while a little update or modification can be done if there is time and motivation.

But for the time being we hope that you can find the time for the tracks you mentioned, as they would be a great benefit for the GP3 community...

I think it is a good idea to make as many beta tracks available as possible for the community. Perhaps new modders can copy and learn to keep our fine GP3 alive and updated...

For all the splendid updates you have provided us with
i guess GP3 has come to an end and after a stretch of 18 years its not to bad for a game
i see the interest is slipping here and elswhere ( in my simclub)
so it was great but everthing has to end sometime i guess

thats true manu, i already decided it last year to quit on the seasons.
it was by your efforts and new ideas, that i found the motivation again.
i think we have brought some new ideas into the game as well, but we are often bumping into the limits of the game.

maybe you can do the work on the other tracks, i know you have the skills

It's always bad news when one of the great guys is leaving.

danke Uwe, it always has been a pleasure working for the community, but sometimes you'll need to make decisions how to move on in your life.
I will return from time to time, with small updates, and people may still post questions etc, but the big projects are over for me...

Really sad to see you step away from the GP3 community, but I totally understand.
Massive thank you for all the great things you have made and shared. Its hard to pick favorites, but I'd have to choose between Paul Ricard and Enna. Paul Ricard because it filled an important hole for my 70s and 80s megapatch and Enna as I never thought I would get this and the version you made was so detailed.

Thanks for all the gifts, Merry Christmas and I wish you very well in all you do.

By the way, I expect to have F1 1989 megapatch ready in a few weeks.
