Sounds great with a couple of 'new' tracks (Y)

Regarding Portimao I think the latest real present race series was Blancpain Sprint Series in 2015.... (Otherwise I can think of Le Mans Series 2008, but rather old)..:-)

That's great news Dirk!:-)

Portimao agree with shlund perhaps TCR would be a possibility.

Two more questions to "new projects"!

1. Kyalami 1992 on 2004 Jam ...............
1992 supplement ads in this version? Tobacco, alcohol and more?

2. Zantvoort 1979 new corner .................
It could be done on the base Zandvoort Ettore TP1977 layout Zatvoort 1979? New corner only in season 1979!
Actually, it was rather new curbs more than a new corner! After the season is canceled!!!

hi paul, with TCR you mean Touring Car Racing, i guess?

I don't know if i have the kyalami 1992 track...
Zandvoort 1979 has a nasty chicane, i don't know if i can fix that, but i'll put it on the list

Hi Dirk.
Yes! The official name is TCR International Series. Portimao 2015.
Zantvoort 1979 I understand clearly!
If you would like Kyalami in 1992 to change the ads real life, let me know and I'll send it along!

Time has come :-) Fuji 1976 and Paul Ricard 1987 are uploaded !

Some files may be overwritten so please check first before you do, but normally it wouldn't do any harm.
Start your engines.... ;)

Hi Dirk

Really love the new fuji track. A great job. I wonder what year those pits are based on? Is that mid 1980s or later?

Highlights in this new track are in my view: the stunning scenery, the pit buildings and the detail in the JAX sign.

I notice there are no crash barriers just after the last corner. Perhaps this is an error from my graphics card. Any ideas?

Cheers!

Elio

Hello elio, the pit building is partly fictional and partly based on what i saw on youtube
(the video of the real 1976 race was very bad)

and there is no error on the armco ;-)
armcos are not present on several parts of the track...i don't know how it was in real life, like i said before : the video was bad so in general i kept the original armco construction.
you can change this by unchecking the 'remove texture' cmd in these sections if you don't like it

Dirk

Thanks for clarifying all that! I think you made the right choice to have more advanced pit building than the sheds / farm barns that they had in 1976 as this gives wider use to the circuit into the 1980s. I am going to make JAM ads adjustments that are more accurate to 1976, not a lot to do but worth it for absolute accuracy .g. different Bridgestone logo style. Thanks again for making the track. The only poor quality track in the 1976 megapatch now will be Watkins Glen, but that is not so bad. Having a good Enna would be a greater priority in my view.

Great work my friend!

Happy Racing!

Philip
