But it's important to know if Orloff made any changes of these files to the Indy 2017 version

About the cc-line fix "what was wrong with Barber"

As I said, usually, it is not always, every track converted from GP2 to GP3 loses the last segment of the line. (CC-Line)

CC-line means 'computer controller line' which means exactly the line of control of the cars by the computer or the ideal trajectory that the cars must follow in the track.
CC-line is the dotted line that appears on the track when we enable the 'show the best trajectory' function.

If this line is not set inside de DAT by default it will be at the midle of the track...

Look at the picture...

The CC-Line was set at right side of the track...suddenly goes to the middle... and then goes back to the right....

By the way the cars make the same move too...

It means that is missing a piece... in this case... the last sector of the track.... near the finish line....





Open the DAT file... and seet it.... line 39 is the last line... I put one more line... 40 with len=29



Use the track that I post an and you will see that the cc-line is at the right side now.... all the cars will go the right side

"About ini files"

I did not know about this possibility ...

I noticed that the ini file must have the same name as the dat file and be in the same folder.

In GPxPatch, GPxTrack tab, "Catch Menu String" and "Catch Records" options must be checked.

I've remembered, there was such a stall from path at Barber finish line, but it wasn't too critical - at Gateway you simply thrown to the wall_
I've already forgot about best trajectory shown in game, have't seen it for years ))
In ZIP there should be directory "Milwaukee", so put it in "Penjams" ) - anyway, as Gateway race will take place I'll try to make new ads.
"Belle isle 2000" I found in one of Trackpacks downloaded in "GP3CART and other track" section _

Generally this could be some changes done until season ends )

I am not a specialist in track editing, right here in the forum there are friends who know a lot about this. However, I fixed the CC-Line at the finish line.

If someone have a better fix, feel free to improve it.

I did a test and it all right.

About Jam files:

I moved the folder Milwaukee that you sent to the right place ( Penjams\Milwaukee ). Now it´s all right.

I've never seen this before ... some of you have already seen this ?

This track track has 3 "turns" of CC-Line.

I noticed that every 3 times the car goes through the finish line it counts 1 lap.

So a race with 13 laps the car will pass 39 times by the finish line ...

Note that only when the car completes the third pass by the finish line it shows the fast lap .... the next occurs in the sixth pass, lap 2 .... and so on ...

Maybe it's a restriction on GP3 because it's a very short track ....

Not only the cc-line, the complete track is built with 3 turns
If you finish one lap it looks like you have finished three laps
A construction like this enables a longer race distance on short tracks,
I worked in this way on a couple of oval track updates, the first track
in this way was made by abcdefg
