Seems to me that the GP3 Barber Circuit conversion could need some work...

it seems to me this is more than 'some work'

Like i see it, it would be better to start from scratch and make a new conversion, this time with the scenery cmds included.
Then, it would be easier and faster to reproduce the scenery just by adding a few 'ribbons on/off cmd'
and importing/adding objects is not the hardest thing to do.... cheers

I agree Dirk, sometimes best to start from scratch if possible.... Meanwhile this is not a project for me, perhaps someday in the winter season, but let's see what future brings

An IndyCar 2016 carset is available in download section 'Season Packages'...

If possible, it would be nice if a real painter could do the cars and cockpits...

Because you made something wrong. I had once made a season in Indycar and it was working as it was supposed to be.
With so little insight of your issue I'm afraid we can't help you very much.

Thank you, guys, I will be upgatin' skins from round to round 'cause there are always some changes_
Great idea to bring here the helmtes - I used old ones I can find in former carsets downloaded, or painted
the weak copies by myself.
As for the carshapes, I'm not the one who can do it - Edit options in the CarEditor version I have dont't work
and no manual file in it. Though, '14 or '15 carshapes not bad and close similar to current car view.
So, the process will continue, I hope))
