F1 1969 MegaPatch - Beta available NOW!

Hi guys

Happy Easter! I am pleased to make available a beta version of my new MegaPatch - F1 1969.

F1 1969 MegaPatch DOWNLOAD

It is a beta version because not all the tracks are revised to the right shape and JAMs need to be updated with many. I am working on this and have some help from others, including Holemad, who has been working on Nordschliefe.

The track that are 100% to 1969 are: Kyalami, Zandvoort, Brands Hatch, Montjuich, Rouen, Riems and Clermont F,

Thanks for all your positive comments. I am certainly enjoying using what I've made so far - a great Led Zeppelin soundtrack. If I get enough free time, I should have a beta version to share in May. I don't want to release this until at least we have the track menus and main JAMs all done.

There is a possibility to choose from 4 different cockpit interiors if you swap the files below:

gp3jamsh / liveries / Dsh3big.jam

Swap with: leather, ferrari, matra and metal versions.

Any other ideas for improvements, just say!

Elio beautiful work! compliments, the circuits and the textures are fascinating! My favorite circuit is Zandvoort; I did not know there was such a beautiful version. The engine sound is very realistic as well as the cockpit of the machines. Elio you have to continue like this, this community needs this complete patch! Thank you very much

Compliments like this make the work all worthwhile! I will certainly carry on as you can see by my explanation in the other posting (1969 to 2009). Even after all these years (I started using GP2 in 1999) I love this game and making things for it as much as ever.

Do continue in your work too! I need your F1 1987 track pack as it will be a source for many of my future plans.

That Zandvoort track is amazing isn't it? The two most impressive track I have ever seen for detail are Pau (which I will use for F3000 1989) and Montjuich used here. I really like what I achieved with Silverstone. It really feels authentic. But the chicane needs removing from Woodcote which is beyond my skills.

Lots more fun things to come, including an updated Nordschlife and perhaps Fuji from Holemad.

I have just finished an update project for taube on the mosport track from the 1977 pack.
I don't think it has the right pit exit but i can use a lot of stuff for the 1976 track.

An upload of the 1977 track will be made later today.

According to the real video is the pit exit at Mosport completely OK!
Or do you mean other circuit Dirk?

well, i don't know, Paul.
I looked at wikipedia and the tracklayout of 1976 seems to have a longer pit exit.
Its more like the update that zieli made a while ago.
But it remains a great track

I'll have a look for an updated MD2 too.

I checked on youtube 1967,1976,1977 Mosport and the pit exit is always the first corner so we've got right at that time!
Your new MD yesterday I was transferred to the MD2 and everything is perfect for me!

maybe i'm a bit of a perfectionist but when you look here [en.wikipedia.org]
and then open the track with the editor, you'll see the exit is deeper into the 1st corner.

Sadly I am not able to load Nordschleife in GP3 1.13 even with the latest version of GPxPatch. It does load in GP3 2000, but with the purple car errors. I think that if you can reduce the total file size then it might work again. If kerb details are not so detailed, this might reduce it enough without losing the really important additions like the pit buildings and advertising hoardings.

Hi, congratulation for your work. In my old pc with windows xp work fine,but in my new notebook with windows 7 64 bit the game not work. I have every your mod, and every patch not work in notebook. The new notebook have graphic chips amd radeon 512 mb dedicated and intel graphic 3000. When i start the gpx patch i have black screen but the sound work fine. i tried to set compatibility with every old windows and i tried to run as administrator, but the game not work.I tried to run the game in virtual box e vmware workstation with windows xp, but not work. Can you help me? Sorry for my english, but i'm italian.

i have the same problem on my laptop with win7 64 bit and a nvidia card and i tried everything to get it to work, only sound i'm hearing
I can perfectly run GPL and GP4 but no GP3

On my workstation i have XP SP3 with nvidia, 2 gigs of ram and that runs perfect
I stopped searching....

XP is the best

Sorry but I don't have the technical know-how to suggest solutions for this problem. Others may know. Best of luck.
