Mega Patch 1994 ... Ready now!

Hi all

Just to let you know that I am not very far away from completing a mega patch for 1994. Its for Season 2000 version.

Cars, cockpits, hands, visors, legs, team art, main menus all done.
Track menus all done except the last 3 races (will finish today)
Pit crews still to do: Ferrari, Lotus, Ligier and Sauber
Circuit Jams done = Interlagos, Monaco, Aida, Barcelona, Adelaide - so that is where the most work is needed.

Anyone fancy pitching in to help with the Jams, just say.
Once this is all done I can move on to 1976 and 1969 which will be very big jobs as there is so much to make.

I will release the 1994 mega patch today!

All done except update all track Jams from 1996 to 1994 - but I may never get around to that, so no point waiting.

I had said that it would be may weeks before I would release my 1994 Mega patch as I have a lot of track JAMS (averts mostly) left to do. Well once I completed all the pit crews (over 70 jams) and the menus I decided that I will not do the other track JAMs any time soon as the Belini 1996 JAMs they are based on are so many, it would take so long and I’d not be able to move on to 1976 and 1969 any time this year.

1994 Megapatch

to join the others: 1981, 1985, 1991, 1998, 2002 and 2009.

The tracks that have got 1994 specific ads etc are: Interlagos, Aida, Imola, Monaco, Barcelona, Estroil and Adelaide. The remaining 9 tracks use 1996 JAMs, so not too bad in terms of authenticity. I can not bare to use the 1994 Spa with a chicane at Eau Rouge in any case.

You will see I have include a range of alternative liveries and team arts. There is an excel sheet for your results.
With the exception of menu arts, menus, music, visors, steering wheels, driver arms / legs the work is based on others too numerous to mention, but special credit to Belini for taking tracks to new heights.

Other points to make:

- Interlargos never loads unless the load another track beforehand
- If you cannot see driver arms, legs, or steering wheels it will be because you need to re-install them in GPXpatch with the right file address to your machine.
- Some driver swaps, e.g. senna to coulthard and Wendlinger to Decesaris can be made from the spare bmps supplied.

About Aida - I have not come across a better version and do not have the skills myself to make one. The old GP2 version was better as at least you saw the back of the pit buildings as you went around the 'Piper' corner. Pity, as it is the poorest track in the set. Not one that Belini ever made.

if you make better jams and objects, and put realistic texture on the mountains, it will already look so much better.
and there is also barcelona without the chicane
I don't think we have the 1994 spa with a chicane at eau rouge.

The track is made by Sandro Branciforte (see 'read me' and I think it is a very good '94 version of the track, try it

Also I made for private use a Okayama (TI Aida) 2009 (Le Mans series) with updated horizon, fences and smaller adjustments and objects. Available if any interest

Barcelona 1994 layout (Barriers chicane) only one year 1994 It is created from abcdefg for Sandro Barcelona layout 1991- 1993 base !!

@shlund .... It could be the Aida 2009 to download section? I'm interested !

Okay Just uploaded my private version of Okayama Asian Le Mans Series 2009 circuit to download section 'GP3 F1 tracks'.... Remember to make a back-up of the original folder as this version uses the same folder.
Tip: copy all original jams into the folder again and you will have a 1994 version with updates and more objects on track

Much more can be done to this track so please feel free to improve, update and add more items to the circuit.

I am busy making 1994 Jams to go with Shlund's much better Aida using Belini jams like Mild Seven ad and marlboro etc.
