Just picked up a 2nd hand copy of GP3 (GP4 won't run on my spec machine) anyhoo...didn't get a manual with it. Sadly the dash layout is different than my old gp2 and I have no idea what one of the lights indicates. It's the small red led above the car icon that shows damage. It's always lit red - or seems to be. What does it indicate? Thanks.

It shows that this car is not controlled by the computer, but by a player. It is quite handy if you choose more than one player. You can thus easily tell the player's cars and the CC cars apart while browsing through the pitlane.

No offense: we assume you really bought a second hand copy. Remember, we don't give advice on warez and pirate stuff in here. :)

Thanks for that. I did actually buy a 2nd hand copy. I basically got hold of a 2nd hand P.C and dug out my old GP2, but it won't run on windows XP??? Unless I am doing something wrong.

So, I looked at GP4 but my specs aren't good enough. Went to a local Indie and picked up GP3 for £6.99 but no manual. Which I hate cos I like having my instructions. I don't actually play P.C games apart from GP2 and now 3! Mainly cos I have never had a decent enough P.C to play any up to date games. Thanks again.

If GP2 can be made to run on XP I'd be interested to know how because I'd love to actually see it running with full details. Something my old P.C was never capable of.

You said GP2 wouldn't run on Windows Xp.
Well, check www.sportplanet.com/gp2 there you can find a patch for playing gp2 on the latest systems.
